Morgan made Carol realize that she's losing her humanity. Ever since she killed Karen and David, killing people's become so easy for her. She became so focused on survival and protecting her friends that she stopped living her own life. She never settled in Alexandria because she was too busy pretending to be someone else to protect the group. She's become almost heartless and it's starting to catch up to her, which is a good thing in a way because it shows that she still has feelings and it's not too late for her to change
I love how Maggie and Carol faced off what could be the alternate version of themselves. The parallels of them vs those 2 women was great. Like under different circumstances that could have been them...
Wow so true after rewatching this show i realized that they do have parallels that it would of been them if circumstances were different thanks for helping me see that

Here's the thing about Carol, she is struggling so hard to keep her humanity. She doesn't want to become like Paula who's a cold-hearted woman. One who doesn't think twice to murder someone else without hesitation just to protect her people and at the same time a way to keep herself alive. That's why Carol was crying towards the end. It's not compassion. She was trying to avoid having more blood on her hands. It's her conscience that keeps her up at night. That's what she's struggling so hard with. My girl Carol needs some therapy. Someone to talk to or at least a vacation lol. But she knows she can't stop because Rick, Maggie and everybody else, are family to her. And you know what you would do if your family was in any danger especially in this apocalyptic world: you would kill for them. And she doesn't to do that anymore. Shout out to Carol and Maggie for taking care of business. PEACE!

Ya its a predator thing. look at most predators and theyve got forward facing eyes to maximize things like depth perception. Look at prey animals and youll often see the eyes on the sides of the head to give them a more 360 view of their world to look out for predators

I'm just gonna set things in the table here for this episode, Daryl killed a crew that called themselves Negan first, but that was self defence cause Abraham and Sasha was about to die. Then we had Rick's group deal with a part of the saviours at hilltop camp, then we move to the big compound with Rick and his group killing the saviours in their sleep, Carol and Maggie kill the ones that took them hostage and now Rick has sealed the deal with ending the last remaining saviour for now. That's more than kicking the Hornet's nest, it sounds like they wanted to draw blood to lure the Sharks in for a good feed 🤔😉
Carol saw herself in Ms. Redhead. Her humanity is starting to catch up with her; all that killing is taking a toll on her mentally.

Everytime Carol mentuo s cigarettes killing someone she goes on a murder spree. Anyone else ever notice that. She done it in the episode J.S.S too
And then she proceeded to smoke in that episode and she did that in this one too. Also, in 9x01 she takes daryl's cigarette and tells him "these things will kill you" which shows how much she's changed

They’ve already seen 701 by now so no need to spoiler tag (and hopefully no one who isn’t caught up on the show is watching this) but this episode and last episode is why I never really hated Negan for killing Abe and Glenn. Yeah, I loved their characters and it sucks to see them go but Rick and group killed like 40 people and Negan only killed 2. The way he did it, though, I can see why people would always hate him

He was already forcing all the communities to work for him and the saviors from 6x09 said that they always introduced themselves by killing someone. Carolyn Keith First of all, no need to be rude. Second, we don’t know any individual savior. Some could have been like Fat Joey, just trying to get by. And I’m sure not everyone agrees with the brutal killings and intimidation but for them they may think they have nowhere else to go.
