    $4300+tax for a bolt on with one pick up, one knob. Should be at least half that price.

      I respectfully disagree, I own Suhrs, USA Jacksons, EBMM Music Man, Caparison, Ibanez J. Custom, and E-IIs-ESP standard series. None of them match the craftsmanship. However, this guitar has my least favorite neck profile, but the finish and edge treatment are a level above my other high end instruments. ESP USA has one of the highest QC standards I’ve ever seen.

    I own two ESP USA M-II guitars, purchased both from Sweetwater this year. They’re great but I really wish they offered the USA M-line with the thin-U neck, as I hate the extra thin-u. love how well put together the instrument is, it beats my custom Suhrs, Jackson, Ibanez, Caparison, and EBMM in terms of quality. Most folks are moving towards a 42MM width at the nut, and hope ESP offers that soon for the M line.
    The Japanese M line has the thin-U neck, and it is amazing.

      I've been playing a guitar with a 41mm nut and it's great. It's quite rare to see unfortunately.

    It’s perfect for me. Stainless steel frets looks so smooth and mirror polished! Had my Stratocaster 1981 refreted with mirror polished stainless steel frets and it’s sounding the same but way more sustain and less string wear due to less friction

    i absolutely hate and love when esp does this lol I play nothing but single humbucker guitars , they are either 3000+ dollars or 50$ I wish they did this on a LTD line but with cool colors like this , and yes before you tell im aware of the 201 line that came out recently.

    I just bought an oasis green 2024 ESP USA M-1 DX. The extra thin neck profile is perfect as it is thin but has a substantial feel for rhythm playing. The bolt on design is superior to Jackson with the ergonomic cutaways. Very solid quality feeling and looking guitar 🎸 only thing is its heavy with the mahogany wings. But it is worth it for the tone

    Why is the bridge pickup so far from the bridge? I know there is no pickup rings so it looks even farther but even then, it just looks silly. Plus you get more bite and brightness when the pole pieces of the pickups are closer to the saddles.

    • @Danvezina
      @Danvezina 10 годин тому

      It’s an active pickup…..where do you see pole pieces?

      @ pole pieces or fish man PCB doesn’t matter the close the pickup is to the bridge the tighter the sound can be.

    The none matching headstock color is a total missed opportunity. But still... it looks beautiful.

    I love ESP but these prices are insane. Id never spent that money on a guitar with no extra features etc.

  • @luisbarrera5740

    That price is ridiculous. No standard consumer is purchasing that. Then again I suppose that's the point. Its for pros with money. However, what musician aside from major pop artists actually make money nowadays?

      There is no standard consumer. Some people can, and absolutely do, afford these kinds of guitars.
