Theory: opening packs received from sbc right away, i.e: you do a marquee matchups segments and it takes you right away to the store to open the pack right? Well, those packs you open in that moment, literally SUCK, league sbcs, upgrades, icon sbc, they’re all nerfed so much is amazing nobody has noticed

Got in FIFA 22 the Goat Pull. Messi TOTY, i selled Him for 1,7M and paid 1,2 M for R9 Baby. Next to it i checked that R9 dont get Powerful in Matches like Messi. So i also selled R9. There where finally 1.1 M Rested of 1.7 for Messi. 😂🫡

Adama freeze was so broken. Was using him as a super sub all the way to end game. His attacking ai was unreal, his ability to blow defenders away in the last 30 minutes was crazy.

I did the Adama that year even though most content guys said he’s not worth it l. Turned out to be an insane decision.

I saw nep packed prime Gullit in one of the previous fifa's, so I counted how long he was hovering over the pack and it was roughly 6 seconds so from then on I would only open a pack after hovering over it for 6 seconds...... So dumb

My worst take is definitely shown down Weghorst. I used him and knew everyone was raving about him but I thought his finishing was awful so took him out my team. I later realised that he’s right footed when I thought he was left so most my shots came from his weak foot

Same. I was struggling for fodder and didn't have many Serie A at the time. Did the first squad only to let it expire. Many regrets
Icon trait is a real thing, you can have a bad Icon but they can just do weird things that other cards can't do, massive DDA boost. They can also stack Icon traits, more Icons in the team can rub of on normal cards, EA want Icon teams to win more so playing a team with multiple Icons means you will be handicapped.
I think 'Walkout/Promo Card Counter' is a thing as well, more research on data available needed for proof of concept but I'll just say, try to avoid opening objectives or sbc with walkouts until after you open your packs.

My worst take was investing 1 mil on Jadon Sancho OTW when he costed 180k expecting him to raise. That season Man UTD played so terribly Sancho didn’t get a single upgrade. Lost about 800k trying to hold out hope
Piece of advice. Only invest in otw card if they are 82 or lower. These are the cards that will cost 20-30k but if they get 2 upgrades they go to 87 where they will be minimum 100k. And if they dont upgrade, they can only go down to minimum, which is a 10k loss only. Good ROI
