- Although similar to our last trip to Burbank, this flight was special in many ways. Join us as we take Morgan and her mother to LA again so they can wait for a liver transplant. As you'll see, God's timing is perfect!
Praise God. What timing indeed. As a retired surgical nurse, this resonates close to my heart.
What a great video! I'm about to get my commercial rating and would love nothing more than to be able to bless people's lives like you do with Angel Flight. You're a great example of loving your neighbor! Keep these videos coming! I need MOAR!
Hi Austin! Thanks for the note and the encouragement!. Best wishes in getting your commercial rating.
@@MalibuFlyer Thank you! Hopefully, I run into you on frequency up here in Utah some time.
How could you not love this trip, especially the ending!
That pulls on your heart strings. What an honorable way to give back. NICE
Cannot say thanks enough for what you do for people in need and for the motivation you give me as an aviator... Working on my instrument rating after 25 years as a private pilot.
Thanks alot
Hi Harry. Thank you for the encouragement and I'm glad to hear that you're pursuing your instrument rating. I waited 22 years before getting my instrument rating and wish I had done it sooner.
@@MalibuFlyer I got my private pilot ticket in 1995. Had to save every dollar to pay for my flight lessons and the instrument rating just wasn't possible for a young man living paycheck to paycheck.
Be safe and Blue Skies
I am not a religious person but I admire your commitment and faith to the public. Keep us updated on the little one's health progress
Hi Richard! Thanks for the comment. I am pleased to report that Morgan was able to receive a liver transplant last January and is now home, doing well, and cancer free!
Always enjoy watching your videos. You have by far the best ones on UA-cam. You and your copilot were truly the wings of angels on this flight. God Bless you and keep you safe on all your future flights.
I heartily agree with all the well wishes posted by the other commentators - God Bless both your volunteer work and little Morgan. As an aside, I'm new to your channel and working my way back through the old videos - this is the first time that I've seen you fly without a baseball cap!
Thank you! My wife wanted me to dress it up a little given the nature of the flight.
" Praise God, Praise God, Praise God " Brother I was praying in English and in the Spirit when I first started watching this video. We are so happy she got her video.
Beautiful flight! Enjoyed watching, glad Morgan is doing well!!
Wonderful! So happy for Morgan and her family. Great flight! Great kindness.
Amazing news, God bless Morgan and her family! God bless you and your's for providing this service for her.
The last bit about her transplant really makes this whole thing worth while. Wonderful job, now, I just need to get the onions that I can't find, but must be close to me, away from me! :) :p
Nice work ! As a fellow pilot I am humbled by your generosity and kindness, congrats to Morgan and her family!
My Bro, You and your wife make my heart Happy! What you're doing is certainly not wood hay and stubble. Your love for God is obvious because we serve God by serving our fellow man.
Thank you for your encouraging comment!
@@MalibuFlyer by the way Sir, I dropped a note at the end of your "Escape From Ocala" video for Katey. If I may lien on the kindness of your heart, would you & your wife & family please pray for me?? Just home shortly after having cancer surgery. You know what James chapter 5 says; so I'm confessing and I'm asking!!! Metaphorically I have been forced 2 taxi to "four corners"!! I know he will hear you! GOD bless! ✨🙏
@@chuckcampbell3927 Hello Chuck. Yes, we have been praying for you and were wondering how you're doing?
@@MalibuFlyer Good morning. What a comfort to know i am in your prayers. Trying to get my spirit ready for the next surgery. Always anxious to get a notification of another episode of Malibu flyer. My scheduled return to Israel is on indefinite suspension. Meanwhile my daily labor of working on my manuscript is laborious under the conditions. So when I get writer's block, I take a cup of coffee and watch another adventure of Malibu flyer "4DT". You've heard the expression living in the Spirit? My spirit does not have to be trapped here in the confines of healing. As I pray for you I can fly right along on "4DT" with you. If we could only know the limitless wonders of the Spirit. For example check out lCor. 2:9&10. Particularly verse 10. May GOD make HIS face to constantly shine upon you & 4DT. Cordially, Chuck 📖🛫🛬🙏
You and your family are such a blessing, thank you for sharing these journeys with your YT family. Our family has been praying that she would receive her new liver. PTL!!!
Yay!!! Get well soon! ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Appreciate what you’re doing lending your time and resources for the aide of others....
Good to see your wife wearing the “Halos”!!!
Also noticed the Halos. Would like to hear what she thinks of them.
Paul Dube
We both wear them and love them!!!!! Wife likes that she doesn’t have to remove her earrings, no hair squashing or sweaty ears in the summer!
Hi @@pauldube6298. I love them with one (self-induced) exception. Since my head is so small, my husband had to disassemble the Halo's and remove about 1.5" of the wire frame in order to get the ear rests to sit properly. He got it all back together with shrink tubing but now the mic doesn't align properly with my mouth so I'm constantly having to adjust it so he can hear me.
I also have the voltage problem with the same model AP. Just in case you or any PA-46 drivers ever need it, there are two simple work arounds to fool the AP into passing self test. The first is to hit the electric trim each time the red light on the AP comes on during the test. The second is to pull the RPM back (or shut the alternators off) momentarily during the AP test. In either method you are just lowering the voltage the AP sees during self test. Of course the right solution is to set the output voltage like you did but sometimes these little tricks come in handy.
Oh and you're due for a bulb in RT Gear Lt.
Hi Paul! You are a trove of practical and useful information, thank you! I was using the alternators off trick prior to the voltage adjustment but interestingly, my AP is still not passing even with it properly set at 28v. I've been doing the self test prior to engine start as a workaround but will try the trim trick. The sure fire fix is to replace the zener diode on the trim servo but it's not that pressing right now. Thanks for the heads-up on the bulb. Every time I go to replace it, it starts working again! The bulb seat has worn over the years and allows it to slip and lose contact.
Great to hear. Keep the videos coming. You have a great eye. That pic of the two little ones in the plane windows is priceless.
Just WOW! Bless you.
Thank you for letting us know that Morgan received her new liver and recovery is going well. I almost cried. I wish you would have recorded, (at least video), of Morgan and the family getting on and off the plane. It would have added just a bit of personal touch to your overall video. Do you do this on a volunteer basis? I would love to do that! Keep them coming! :)
God is great! Brought tears to my eyes. I hope to use my Navajo just like this soon. Keep fighting Morgan!
God bless you !
Precious child of God.
God is good! Thanks for what you do.
He is indeed!
Great job captain!!
What a great outcome! You've really done some great work with your Malibu.
Great news - you are a fine person!
Good Job, This video breaks my heart but also puts a smile on my face. Thank you God.
God bless you.
I soon hope to join a local angel flight and do the same. What an awesome way to give back. Thanks
You're a GOOD man! Thanks for the flight and the video!
yeah for Morgan hope she recovers well praying for her.and also thank you for doing that its a noble cause
This was very good of you to do this for this family. God Bless you!
Glorifying The Lord in everything you do. What a terrific testimony and inspiration.
Great video. Nice to meet "Gracey". Wonderful ending to the trip.
GOD BLESS YOUR HEART! As a fellow Christian pilot, I can only hope to be placed in such position to help someone else as such in the near future. Thank you for sharing!
Fantastic.
Good job. The ultimate purpose to owning an airplane. God bless.
Wow. Awesome story!
Love the video, outstanding work. Good to hear about your passenger.
God bless you and yours!
Thank you!
Thanks for sharing and using your aviation skills and resources to help others!
Love this. Thank you.
Thanks for sharing this great video, glad to hear she recovering well.
Wonderful flight, but the last 40 seconds was the absolute best part.
Geez, that traffic on the approach was close
What a noble thing. As a pilot I give you kudos. I would love to do this. Need to get a plane first, lol
Mankind at its best! Morgan keep up the good fight.
Awesome. Thank you for your efforts! Such good news at the end.
nicely done
What a blessing to be a part of that, huh?
Buttery landing. Very nice.
Awesome news!!! God is good.
good job love it.. thank you for doing this..
Too Cool!!
Well done to all. We all love a happy ending especially when a little girl gets the chance of life
If you voltage regulator output was high, then you were charging your battery at a higher rate, which if it is a wet cell, it would cause them to need to be topped off more often, which they probably did at annual. I assume you adjusted the voltage regulators down to 28 volts.
Yes, I did.
Hey, Malibu Flyer I am new here and wanted to say hello and super cool and what did for this child. I am hoping on getting private pilots license this year. My goals are to buy the new piper M350.
God Bless Morgan. Why don't u use Van Nuys and does Burbank charge landing fees
AWESOME
There is an instrument above your Garmin screen with two numbers. What is that?
That is the backup to the JPI 930 engine monitor. That displays the manifold pressure and engine RPM.
Question... Earlier, I watched your flight to Salt Lake, with another little one. That flight was designated an Angel Flight, but this is not. Will you please explain why? Is that something you request or is it something that ATC assigns based on some criterion? Thanks!
Hi Dave. That's a good question. Angel Flight is an organization that pairs qualified pilots with pre-screened patients that need transport. In this particular flight, the little girl and her family had not yet signed up with the Angel Flight organization so I technically couldn't fly is as an AF mission. ATC doesn't assign the designator, it's something I specify in the flight plan.
@@MalibuFlyer Thanks for the explanation! You're doing God's work. Really enjoying your channel!
Out of curiously what’s your thoughts on flying this aircraft across the English Channel, at night and during winter?
What organization do u fly for?
😂 That's so "GREAT"!!!!!!
Easy on your brakes man lol
Hey, did someone steal your footage? ua-cam.com/video/ycG2nS3LRNQ/v-deo.html ? Since I don't understand a word I was wondering if they use your stuff with permission.
They sure did! Reporting in now. Thank you
@@MalibuFlyer I thought so. I have to say that this is impertinent beyond belief. I mean we are not talking about 2 seconds or something showing something generic like a wing. 5 minutes? Really? Showing the tail number and anything which of course doesn't have anything to do with the incident? Only good thing I can say about it is they indeed managed to to steal the best Malibu footage on the net. Good taste, bad manners.
Is that your yellow FJ Cruiser?
Hi Joe. Yes, it's a 2007
@@MalibuFlyer I have a Black Cherry '07. Keep up the nice work on your videos. I love them!
