Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pages. I too would love to see how you work with your waterbased markers! And I look forward to seeing more of your finished pages. Very inspirational.
you are very talented! Love ALL the pages. Hope you continue to do videos and alot of color alongs with talking explaining what you're doing. Happy coloring.
I am very glad I found your channel. I really like your backgrounds, they are divine!!! I strongly believe your channel will grow quickly once people discover you.
I enjoyed your video very much. Love your work and your attitude. Coloring should be fun! I would be interested in a video on your use of water based markers. Thanks for sharing your lovely work.
Such beautiful work! You inspire me to do more in my Karlzon books. I haven't given water-based markers a fair shot. I absolutely loved the rainbow lady you did!!
I like that you sometimes go back and touch up your previously finished pictures. I also do that. It shows that you are willing to upgrade what you've done!
Just got my first couple Karlzon books. I see all you amazing pictures and I’m a little intimidated. But bit the bullet and decided you have to learn by doing.
Know that I'm cheering you on with all my heart! And, you know, not every page needs to be a master piece; I certainly have some more mindless colorings mixed in with the rest, and that is 100% fine:) My priority is having fun, improving and learning are more of a side-effect of that. I'm sure that mentality isn't for everyone, but well, it works for me at least and helps me mitigate feelings of being intimidated or not living up to my expectation and whatnot. Also, it might be a comfort to hear that I also sometimes see some amazing images online and feel intimidated. It's normal. I'm comforted by the fact that everyone (probably) struggles with it from time to time, but keep coloring anyway.
I think you did a fantastic job on the Summer goddess. She's beautiful! I get frustrated because my work doesn't look as vibrant in pictures as it does in real life.
I feel ya! Especially this time of year my instagram looks all doom and gloom no matter what I do. And my videos are also a testamente to the struggle x) I'll be buying some new lights when I come around to it, but for now the battles continue.
Thank you! Yeah, I'm working on more chatty coloralongs. I don't think I'm structured enough for clean cut tutorials, but I do plan to share how I use them:)
Thank you! My marker stash is a mix of everything I find (except tombows because they are too expensive, but I have like 5 of their neutrals to fill out the collection). I guess I'd recomment every cheap big set you can get? I don't have crayolas, but I have something that looks very much like a knockoff of them called fibracolor - I think both are a great set to start off with:)
Great video! Enjoyed seeing all your gorgeous pages. I’m a little confused you sound so familiar, was your old channel called Passionista Colorista, are you Isabell? 💖✨
Thank you! My marker collection is a mixture of three big budget sets (the faber castell connector pens, stadtler dual tips and fibracolor, which seem to be very similar to crayola supertips), random smaller budget sets and a few tombows I bought to replace dry markers in my favorite colours. If you're thinking of buying some, that's what I would suggest: buying one or two big (ca 100 colors) cheap sets and then replacing the colors that run dry with tombows (unless your budget is bigger than mine and you can go crazy on tombows, they really are great, but you don't need all of them, at least in my opinion (want: maybe, need: no)). Out of the three big sets I own I prefer the fibracolor, they are the easiest to dillute with water. The connector pens come in a close second because they have some really nice greens I pick up all the time and using them for backgrounds generates a lot of streaks (which I actually like since it gives a cool texture). The staedtler dual tips have a lot of colors, which I like, and can be used as fineliners, which I also like, but there are some quality issues, at least in my set. None of the markers were dry or anything, but sometimes a lot of pigment gathers at the nib which almost drops onto the page. I still like them and don't regret buying them, but the fibracolor and connector pens come out on top due to that. Hope that helps! (And, yes, I copied an earlier reply, hope you don't mind
How do you feel about the Prismacolors now? I have Problems with them too and don‘t know if its my fault or if I have a bad or fake Set of them 😟🤷♀️ seeing other people use Prismas looks totally different 😔
Same"/ I have no idea what's going on. Maybe everyone else is living in an alternate reality where prismas are good actually and you and me are the only ones left on the other side;) No, just kidding^^. But, honestly, I have stopped caring. I have my trusty polychromos and I love them and am familiar with them, so I don't feel the need to make prismacolors work or to try out other pencils sets. I'm content where I am at the moment:)
Thank you very much for noting that images of men are quite absent from most of the adult coloring books or seem to be a second thought when they are present. I have been trying to figure out why this is so but can only assume that publishers are reverse sexists who think that men would not be interested in coloring. I am a retired professor and wonder what boys, youths and young men feel when they see so few men and when that is mostly as villains or cowboys or spacemen. I hope that colorists like you will reach out to publishers and their artists to help them see that this lack should be corrected. I also really enjoyed seeing your work and listening to your commentary. Thanks!
Me too! I've started some small research into it and thought I might do a discussion-like video-essey-but-with-coloring about it? But I would like it to be well thought out if I did it and I'm not sure I will have the time these coming weeks. Still, if you have any thoughts and ideas on it, I would love to hear them!
Merci beaucoup!♡ (It was a really long time since I took my french clases, I should probably check so I didn't misspell even just those two simple words, but I'm a bit too lazy for that;) But thank you! Your comment made me happy:) )
Thank you for sharing these gorgeous pages. I too would love to see how you work with your waterbased markers! And I look forward to seeing more of your finished pages. Very inspirational.

Love your imagination and your finished pages very inspirational - going to try using my oil pastels in my backgrounds more.
Thank you! And I need to try more of that as well:) I have a rather neglected set of oil pastels: may be time to show them some love again.
I am a new subscriber and I just loved all of your pages. Would love to see tutorials on your backgrounds. Thank you for sharing
Thank you! They are definitely coming up sometime soon(ish) :)

Amazing!!
Beautiful work. Iam with you not fond of prismas.
Thank you! Yeah, they are tricky when you're used to other pencils and vice versa, I guess.
Beautiful finishes, what water based markers do you prefer!💗💗

Oh now that's a compliment!:D No, I'm not her, but I'm guessing we have a similar accent since we're both swedish (or partially swedish in my case) :)
What brand water based markers do you use? I want to try some, but have no idea what to buy. Thanks for sharing as you are quite inspiring!
