We flew from Manchester Airport terminal 2 to Melbourne Orlando International Airport on Saturday 23rd September. This trip we travelled premium with TUI which included access into the escape lounge and TUI's lounge in MLB.
It was great to experience a different airline for comparison as we usually travel with Virgin. There are pro's and cons to both, however TUI came out on top on this occasion due to the early flight times! Our flight was due to depart at 9.45am and even with a slight delay, we still arrived in Orlando for 2.3pm (local florida time) which gave us plenty of time to enjoy the rest of the day.
From MLB we hired a convertible Ford Mustang through Alamo, it was an easy process and the check in team were really friendly. We used the toll roads to drive from MLB to Windsor Hills in Kissimmee, this took us approx an hour and a half but was a nice easy journey.

As a Floridian and former Mustang convertible owner, I felt your pain. Let’s be honest as nice as the idea is, there is nothing fun or enjoyable about driving top-down, windows down in a convertible on the expressway for long distances, roasting in the sun and heat and getting blasted by the wind. I respect your commitment to the experience but was not surprised to see the top back up at the end of the video. 😂

Great video, we were originally going to go with virgin Atlantic but we found out it's much cheaper going with TUI. We're not doing premium but we have got extra leg room seats and booked a lounge for my 50 th birthday in September this year. Can't wait to go and we have done the fast track at Manchester airport terminal 2. Great video
Thank you! Hope you found it helpful. We found it easier with Tui than virgin a much better experience the flight was enjoyable and Melbourne airport was nice and quiet compared to MCO. Was about hour and half drive to Windsor hills for us (near Disney) hope you have a great time!
