First thought is to zip tie some pool noodle onto Frabill (either as a horseshoe down sides or 2 “pontoons” slightly inboard) then mod bucket with hot iron to create slots. Other idea would be a boogie board cutout in the middle with a piece of pvc thru the upper portion of bucket.
That's a neat rig for sure. I have been using the Fabril yellow and white one. Seems every time I forget to bring it in to travel, I have to fight to keep my kayak going in a straight line. Thanks for sharing this. I'm definitely gonna have to check in on one of these.
That is one nice bait bucket. Do you any trouble finding a place to put it in the kayak before you catch your bait and deploy it? Also, if it is easier on the bait, it would make sense for us jon boat guys to use them, too, though drag is not a problem. Of course, while moving from place to place I put my bait bucket(s) in my live well and put them over the side when I start to fish. It is easier getting bait out of a bait bucket than out of a bait well.
I ordered one and it was defective. Not very well built. Waiting to see how their customer service is. The latch on the bucket is a poor design….was the quality and durability assessed in your review…how much were you paid for this video? I feel scammed by you and baitshark. I would not recommend at this point.
Okay, now a video on a kayak hacks diy version of the Baitshark.

Whatever helps me next time i'm out there on the lake.

Just what you need for an already limited for space kayak, more bells and whistles
It does take some space prior to deployment

I have plenty of room behind my seat to hold it prior to cast netting bait. As you point out, it is large.
Is the foam uv resistant? Looks porous
I do not know - you would have to ask the owner of the company (Matt - baitshark.info@gmail.com)
Nice !
Love everything but the price 😮
Yes, very small manufacturing firm.

Sorry to hear that. Let me know how the service is. The latch on this one is better that version 1
