Imagine being Hynek. You beat the 6 seed, then the 3 seed 4-1, the beat the 2 seed 4-3. But then get teched in the finals by the 1 seed. It’s like a final level boss fight
May have been the greatest wrestler to come out of Cal State Bakersfield. Definitely the best heavyweight they’ve ever had
Love when heavyweights wrestle like this.
Basically how a 125-197 wrestles
Oh the days when heavyweights did more than push and shove and wrestle for OT like Lockhart, Mocco and the like did...
I was fortunate enough to wrestle in high school at the same time as Beal in SD. Watching him at tournaments was quite a show. He dominated San Diego Wrestling and CA state wrestling
This guy is the guy brock lesnar couldnt bully
Trent Hynek beat joe lesnar / Brock Lauzon too in this same year to qualify for semifinals
He did not win a state title, placed fourth at 189’his senior year, Casey Strand was the most outstanding wrestler in 94, set the record for wins and it held for a few seasons, and had a solid career at ASU and was an All American two years)… so it was crazy to see the man that Casey beat go on to have a great college career and football career…
I always thought Neal should have been a defensive lineman in the NFL instead of offense. Thankfully, I had no say in the matter.
He absolutely proved his worth during his tenure with the Pats. He and Mankins were an incredible guard combination. Is Neal coaching anywhere?
I've always thought the same

@@southswellsdman that is one huge advantage the big programs have over the smaller ones, they get elite coaches who bring in elite staffs…. Much harder to win state
If you aren’t a part of a program
Hard to believe red made it to the finals
He's like Sanderson's opponents. Very good wrestler but the way their opponent is so high above and dominates them masks this. It's like if the Georgia Bulldogs played the Chiefs or Eagles. They are a great team... But getting dominated by someone high above them one wouldn't know it.
Hi! Can you please post Terry Brands vs Jason Kelber? It was the 126 pound final in the 1991 National Championships.
