I've had this song on my Spotify playlist for years now, and then tonight it came on just as I got home (hence why I'm here listening to it again in full). But as I listen to it tonight, just like every other time I've listened to it, I still can't understand why this wasn't the song that made ATC into household names. I mean, this is _such_ a good pop rock song--it should've been all over the radio, in commercials on TV, being played live on the awards shows, the whole works. The upbeat instrumentals, the _insanely_ catchy chorus, the relatable lyrics, the power in the vocals...this is legitimately one of the best pop rock songs I've ever heard. And I lived through the glory days of pop rock in the 1980s. Even if "Runaway" didn't win you guys the Grammys it should have, thank you so much for recording it.

I'm not a fan of the production, kinda wish the drums were better, and it seems like the guitars blend together too much, I found the live shows to be better. I still like this though but not as good as running with the wild things. (MY OPINION)

+Luke Oxendale yeah I find ATC's mixing to be all over the place, sometimes it's great "dreaming alone" other times it gets weird "fireproof" I've been here since the Infinity days but as I understand the music industry more I notice the faults with several songs, it's sad as ATC were one of my favourite bands when I was younger but now I see them more objectively. I love their music a lot but sometimes they miss the mark with production.
