That’s the most gorgeous Cobra ever -
Call him Tyler since he has a Chandler
Nah, "King Midas" is much more better name for this Golden African Cape Cobra.
Such a nice looking snake.
Why don’t you call him “Midas” since he’s so golden in colour 👌
Keep up the good vids!
I instantly thought of the same! King Midas!
Ithink Aureum or Aurum would also fit
I had the same idea
I like that name as well
I was thinking the same thing. Midas, "King Midas" will be his full name while "Midas" will be his short name.
I grew up in a small town in the Southern Cape of South Africa. The bush was crawling with cape cobras. Use to see one almost everytime we went to go play there in summer. Were never really scared of them, because they just tried to get away from us. More scared of us than we of them. Awesome creatures.
Dude you've gotten so calm and seem way more serious since your bite, but still throwing jokes here and there and always keeping us informed with the facts, your doing great, keep it up 🤌
Hi, I'm a Swiss venomous keeper. This species is actually known to be quite laid back, but don't get complaisant, the venom packs quite the punch.
Are the Swiss venomous? I had no idea
Telling Chandler not to act the fool is like telling a conservative politician to be a decent human being 🧐
@@timbow1356🤡
Howdy
@@timbow1356its like telling Hunter Biden to not smoke crack and screw hookers
He’s the most beautiful cobra I’ve seen in a long time. I think Chester would be a cool name like Chester the Cheetah. He’s got spots like him so Chester the Cobra!!! ❤️❤️❤️
I love watching chandler with his snakes. I’d never have venomous snakes but just watching his passion with these guys makes me want to actually learn more about them. KEEP IT UP!!!
In your past couple of videos I’ve noticed that you’re a lot more cautious now and I am very grateful for it
What an absolutely gorgeous golden cobra! Love the colors!
This is one of the most colorful and beautiful cobras I have ever seen!💛
My favorite cobra species. Was wondering just other day when u were going to get one..and here it is. 🙂 beautiful animal!
They should call it Sunshine.
Haven't checked your channel in awhile so glad I did!! Awesome to see you are still doing good and what an absolutely gorgeous cobra!
Wow that's a gorgeous cobra love the yellow with those markings!!! Chandler all of your snakes are beautiful and have some awesome enclosures collection is getting bigger and bigger it's always exciting to see what new you are gonna get!!! Thanks for the awesome content....✌️🤘
Such a beauty of a cape cobra that you have there. Since cobras are like the kings of snakes in a way, Ghidorah would be a fitting name for a king.
Perfect name!
I love this name!
Nice
I love the name
I vote for this name as well ❤
Call the new Cape Cobra ‘Chester’ after Chester Cheeto as he looks like a giant Cheeto, lol! Cheeto would be a cute name too!! Love ya Chandler!!! Stay safe!!! ❤❤❤
I just said the same thing!
I said Cheeto too
I second Cheeto
I was thinking the same thing!!
It ain't easy being cheesy...
Been hoping to see one of these pop up in your collection for a loooooong time. They're native to my home city (Cape Town) and I definitely think they're one of the most beautiful cobras out there.
Love that new snakie , he is so beautiful ! I have never seen a Cape cobra that color! Love you so much Chandler ! I hope you Have a great day !❤❤❤🐍🐊
You have so many incredible snakes! It’s fantastic that you provide tours to educate the public.
Chester!!!
Gorgeous new snake addition, it has a great home amongst it’s venomous family. 🎉
I agree with you, Chester is a perfect name for such a beautiful cobra
Chandler Jr. 😸😸
I vote Chester too!!!
Chester cheeto
What a vibrant and beautiful cobra he is✨!! Literally he has a golden coloration on his whole body with beautiful speckles. I’m pretty excited how he’s gonna be used to the new environment. Woohoo😃!!
Watching Justina is a pleasure to the eyes. Never breaks her character, keeping Kevin on his toes while being handled 😅❤
Hey Chandler I don’t know if you’ll see this but I love your videos and your enthusiasm about all the reptiles. Thanks for being awesome!
Amazing Cape cobra and its great seeing you still as crazy and continuing teaching everyone about these beautiful reptiles.
We get these in our garden. Had a yellow one and a bronzy black one. Always special to see from a distance. Had a close encounter before.
The growl on those cobras makes them even more fascinating. Thanks for showing us your new golden Cobra. Someone else on here recommended you name him Midas, a perfect name for him.
Great to see you have back a certain calm working with the animals! The sky is the limit. 🎉
Awesome snake! I love to see your collection grow! Keep up the great work, Chandler!❤
Hi Chandler.... keep safe always, bro. Keep well and going.
My heart skips beats from time to time watching your snakes and their deadly unpredictability.
We were doing a bush walk on a friends farm, with their dogs 😅 and a cape cobra shot out of the grass and up a tree in about 10 seconds flat! Was a great walk 😊 thanks for the vid!
Gorgeous new addition. I think you should name him Jafar. He had a golden cobra staff. 🤘 Old School.
Awesome stuff!
Cheers from Germany,
I’m a big fan, we only have the European Adder and the Asp Viper down here. Very exciting to see new venomous snakes!
Keep your positive vibes chandler☺️
Are those snakes very dangerous?
@@slaughterhouse5585 no not really
They are mildly venomous. But the bite of the Asp Viper is very painful, I was bitten in Italy when I was 11 years old and it was very painful, my ankles were shaking and I was feeling a bit dizzy.
But after a couple of days it was all right
Such a beautiful snake! I think Gordon suits him, named after my grandad. He loved snakes and helping animals was his passion. He was a truly great man!
Naja Nivea. Since I first saw it in some documentary as a kid it was my fav cobra specie. Beautiful beast!
Haven't been on your channel for a "while" now, damn memories of good ol times come back :( It seems like it was just few months ago when you got Kevin...
So glad you got a Cape cobra, probably my favourite snake - angry-looking, beautiful, bad-tempered and deadly.
They don’t get enough credit for how dangerous they are
They have a deserved deadly reputation in South Africa. A large part of their range has a low population density of people, otherwise they would kill a lot more people.
Day made Chandler uploaded- love what you do brother
Wow you have a very beautiful Cape Cobra. Being from SA and catching a juvenile by mistake (probably the most dangerous thing I have ever done), I have never seen one this yellow and beautiful. I have only seen one with this color in the snake guides. Even the ambassador snakes up here in Johannesburg isn't this yellow.
So cool, what a beaut.
You are so gentle with your snakes 👍
Name him King Midas
Absolutely gorgeous snake to add to your collection. You mentioned the cheetah markings, given his coloration, maybe he could be called Chester or Cheeto.
Maybe he could have a cobra named Cheetah 😁
I was thinking the same thing about either Chester or Cheetos
Amazing content. Thank your sharing with us!
As a south african. Love seeing a cape cobra on the channel. She's beautiful. In Afrikaans, we call it koperkapel(copper cobra)
Love Skittles. She is such a gorgeous snake just like the golden cape cobra!
I've never seen this type of cobra, amazing. Looks like ripe banana, so maybe call him Banana ^^
Chandler there is only one name that popped up as soon as I seen that beautiful snake, Banana. It is a stunning creature, you really do lived a blessed life. You're also proof that hard work pays off. Great role model.
The colours and patterns of the Cape Cobra reminds me of:
Chocolate Sprinkles on Honey.
Just saw a Cape Cobra posted on the Kentucky Reptile Zoo UA-cam channel. They extract venom for anti venom and research all over the world. They are an impressive organization and those yellow cobras are gorgeous. I’m sure you or someone will come up with a good name but there’s always “Sunshine”.
I live close to the KRZ. Great folks there. Been going there for years! Unfortunately, Kentucky banned all venomous snakes outside of zoos... lame... But I still have mine grandfathered in! Moving to Texas soon to start up my collection again.. I'm seeking new noodles to add!
@@Lovell93 Awesome! I just learned about them last year. I’m only a couple hours away so I’m hoping to get there this coming Spring.
@@MyDogLovesBlueberries It is definitely worth the trip! And make sure you go for the live venom milking! It’s a site to see. I handle my snakes(with tools for the most part) but milking them is next level scary because you have to get your hand close to those fangs!
What a beauty!! What if you name him Starburst? Since you have Skittles 😊
Hello hey thanks so much for all your videos. My wife and I found you on UA-cam one night and our two year old loves your videos and we watch them a few nights a week and get educated on snakes and learn about them and you’re entertaining and very educational so we just wanted to reach out and say thanks a lot
💖👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼👊🏼❤️👍🏼
Im from Cape Town South Africa home of the cape cobra, growing up close to a reserve seeing this snake once or twice a week brings back amazing memories 🥺
Chandler don’t worry about upsetting anybody because of Free handling. You aren’t upsetting anybody. Your expertise and life long experience in handling venomous and even non venomous snakes has gotten you this far. And it has gained you such an incredible amount of respect from people around the world. If you feel like you need to free handle, or want to free handle, go ahead and do it man. There’s no offense taken by anybody in this wild world if you free handle. By the way, I am very happy that you have recovered from your bite by that Spectacled Cobra aka Indian Cobra. You are a true inspiration to animal lovers everywhere.
Awesome episode really enjoyed love you 😻🎉 congratulations 👏
Cape Cobras are one of the most variable cobras around - so many colours and they spread right across south africa
I once found one in my washing machine - similar in colour but nowhere near as pretty as your new one - definitely a shock and they are not known for being particularly chill. They arent neccessarily ""aggressive"" like a black mamba but definitely some attitutde
Always cool to see you with the South African snakes - would be cool to see another one in future
i saw 2 cape cobra in south africa this time last year both a lovely dark orange. gorgeous snakes
Beautiful new cobra. 🧡💛🖤
My favourites are Kevin and Justina. 😍😍
Chandler’s Tour was better than Disney World!!!!! Awesome dude!
That things INSANE!!!! What a fantastic snake man! Wow!
Beautiful mate. greetings from the land down under that’s right Texas.
Midas would be an amazing name for him. What a beauty 😍 Can’t wait to see him when he gets bigger 😇
Absolutely stunning. Can't wait to see what his personality is like once he settles into his new home. The colors remind me of the sun so how about Phoenix or Corona?
That Cobra is insane! Didn’t know they existed! So cool!
My children said you should call your new snake Banarnia because it looks like a banana and we are reading The Chronicles of Narnia.
You can imagine the names our pets have haha!
I can get one of them too. No chance of getting bit, what you will see is venom protection gloves and snake hooks, with a safe distance.
What a beautiful spotted boy!
That is a beautiful animal, now all you need is a Shelby with the same paint scheme to go with it. I have some name suggestions: Shelby (cliche but classic), Arbok (as the shiny Arbok is gold colored), and Serpentor (reference to the Cobra Emperor from the G.I.Joe series).
i love your video there really in spiring so i know more about snakes now thank you so much
Wow nice cape cobra I always watch cobra handler’s you sure are a great cobra handler! I’d name him Oro it’s the Spanish word for gold! Great work nice conservation show 👍 Big Oro bro!!
This is my new favorite snake as far as looks that you own. This cobra is beautiful
What a "beautiful ", Cobra. Chandler, man, you had me raring back in my chair. Never a dull moment. Much love peace and blessings to you. 💋❤️🙏✝️🐍
Such a wicked snack the yellow king cobra
We are aloud to have tablets in here though. And we basically have gmail, youtube, and alot of website are blocked on there internet security. My UA-cam was down for a few weeks it just started working again. I saw Tyler was at your place so I subscribed to your channel I follow all of his videos
I agree, that is the most beautiful cobra I've ever seen!
I've always enjoyed your animals of course lol! And my favorites are the big ol Cuban crocs. Do you have any plans on producing them, obviously of course lol you have a pair, but how optimistic are you that you'll be successful in getting a good clutch from them? I think he should be named Midas obviously lol sorry it took me so long to comment on your video lol. But when you were nailed by the cobra and then you went radio silent for forever me and my buddy were worried about you man!
Kinda the same as when we don't hear much from Ricky Mac lol! We love Ricky Mac in the outback man! You know we do! And while we don't get very many updates on UA-cam, he lets us know he's okay on Instagram:)
❤❤❤... The cobra is just gorgeous.
Stunning!!
That is such a beautiful creature...
The cobra is absolutely stunning.❤
Love the new snake it is so beautiful
My favorite is Tyler's black and white spitters. Specifically the one with the black stripe down its back.
❤ beautiful, yellow snake should be called bumblebee the transformer!!
My sixth choice is Umfana, the Zulu word for "boy" or at least one of them. You are so lucky you snapped him up. Of course I've only seen them via pics and documentaries, but the color variations are insane! So pretty!
The King Cobra is so good looking and smart animal ♥️♥️♥️ greetings from the Netherlands 👍
Should get some make your own necklace or jewelry kits & set the snake teeth in a clear resin. They're fairly cheap, pendants of 80 for $13, resin 2 bottles maybe $20 & some chains. Could sell them during your tours or online to help pay for the animals food & upkeep. Can get that stuff very cheap & do it yourself. Maybe even etch the snake name in them.
❤❤❤your new gold cobra. I would name him Golden Slide …Sly for short. Hello from central Ohio….Go Buckeyes! Chandler you are my ❤.
Chester would be a great name!! Beautiful snake
Miller Wilson just had a couple videos of him staying in the Outback for a few days. Had some great footage of wild Inland Taipans and other snakes.
Love Miller Wilson!!
Beautiful colors on the snake. King Ghidorah would be an awesome name!
❤ That cobra is AWESOME BEAUTIFUL ❤
The way the brightness of this snake is, maybe a name relating to the stars. Comet, Cosmo,
That Cobra beautiful the orange is bright
I wasn’t interested in anything snake related until your videos… I love your enthusiasm, and your teaching points….
Cheeto - seems like a good name.
Dijon!!!! Like the mustard!
Awww Butters
It is beautiful!
Lightning bolt or sunbolt based on the color, Lighting Bolt if it is a bit more active striker!
Absolutely stunning!!!!
An absolute BEAUTY!
Son-rise. Colors of a sunrise but he's your new son😊. Beautiful creature💛🧡
Absolutely beautiful cobra and love the cheetah coloring on him so much in fact my suggestion on a name would be Chester after the Cheetos mascot lol!!😆
Chandler, I agree with your ways and the way that you work with your Animals. You can free handle your animals if you need too Chandler and also if you want to free handle your animals again, please don’t stop yourself from doing that, you are not offending anybody. Please don’t let people tell you what to do. You know these animals, you know how to keep them comfortable and calm, If you need to free handle any of your animals, then please free handle your animals. I would rather see your animals happy and comfortable than agitated and upset. They have personalities just like us. And they show their personalities just like us. Keep doing what you are doing just like you have always done, either with a hook, or by free handling, it makes no difference. All that matters is you keeping your beautiful animals happy and calm the way that you know how to do so. If you are happy, if your animals are happy, then we in Chandlers wild world are all happy. That’s what matters dude.
What a beautiful snake ❤️ I think Elote would be an appropriate name she kind of reminds me of one! 😅
