When Venebals was here people were calling for his head because the Defense was declining and was happy when Mike came back. He has a different caliber of athletes where he's at now.
I know Bob Stoops biggest mistake was hiring Mike back

@Cam. Alex grinch didn’t do shit here. The defense stunk. He would never make it in the SEC. Thank God BV is back along with new blood in Defense.
Miss OU having a defense that would attack instead of play soft and get picked apart also the D-Line lacks talent compared to this team hopefully Grinch will get things going again

This was the last year Venables was on staff, and when Mike Stoops took full control of the D is when it went in the dumpster. Took nearly seven seasons to get rid of him, but finally they did.
There was nothing more satisfying than listening to Mack Brown explain the multiple ways they lost to us.
Ryan Broyles is one of the rare professional athletes who understands finances. He saves and invests a lot and shops wisely. A rare find!

@soonernutty They got over confident after the Texas game and figured Texas Tech was a walk through once Tech killed them it killed their confidence and they just self imploded after the Kansas State game which was a redemtion game thats why they played so well vs kstate but it was over once tech slashed our D the way they did. its all coaching errors.

serious? He honestly was not very good. Now I miss Baker Mayfield for sure - he was a complete bad ass player. Landry was weak, especially when things turned tough. I would never trust Landry or Sam at the end of a big game.
