If you put the apples in the refrigerator then you wouldn't have to put them in each sim's inventory. They don't even take them from the frig to make nectar, they just go make it.
PLUMBELLA you did it wrong Make the nectar, wait until finely aged. Purchase the selvadorian craft sales table, set the mark up price to 300% and start a yard sale. Each bottle is like 20k gurl

@@AnnoyedWoof356the lack of effort in cross compatibility is embarrassing. I can see there being some things that get missed but they don't even do the basics
I think you're over-working. The marketable trait works here, and I've got a single bottle of normal quality vitality nectar at $64k. This can be sold at +300% markup, making it worth a shade over a quarter million. I've got an excellent bottle at $83,160 finely aged. Sell that +300%, and it's worth $332,640. Basically, $1 million with 4 bottles is quite easy. It *could* be possible with 3 bottles if marketable trait RNG is on your side.
I don't know if anyone has mentioned this or if you already knew this/mentioned it in the past, as far as I know gardening is horribly broken and has been for a long time. As far as I know they haven't patched it yet. That's why plants can be wonky as hell about growing. They can also revert to previous states. I pretty much just have to keep my plants cheated when I do have them.
There is definitely a wide spread gardening bug, and has been for a while. Some people started seeing it after Eco lifestyle and others after cottage living. My game hasn’t gotten it yet… 🤞🏻
@@bookcat123oh wow, I assumed people meant it wasn't realistic how much money you can make (kinda like the friendship selfie "bug"), I didn't realize it was a BUG bug. Really glad that hasn't hit my game yet 🤞

truly humbling to see jesse's nectar/murder basement utilizing that lot with more style substance and beauty than the ranch i spent 5 hours making ever could have
Usually this style of gameplay video isn’t my favourite, but whenever you do it it’s always so good- funny, helpful for personal gameplay and so well edited. Thank you Plumbella and Declan too! :)
I recommend evolving all the plants to max. You'd get higher quality nectar, I'm assuming. If you have cottage living, you can drink golden milk, then you can use the power on your other sims as well as all the plants (and maybe the nectar?). Perfect quality plants in no time at all.

I feel Crinkletop is gravely offended that Plumbella didn't sell the finely aged wines to him which he'll pay premium on the beverages made. Like times 2 of the original price. So take notes Bella. Makes luxury life achieved easier. 😂❤️ PS. That 600K would've been times two if you sold it to Crinkletop ✌🏻
As a wine liker, good wines to start on : (anything cold and chilled - especially white wine) any sort of fruit wine (I live in Oregon, US and there is this Marion berry wine that is so 😩👌🏻 chefs kiss !) Japanese Plum wine - and if you go to a restaurant, you can always ask them what their sweetest wine is and try out just a glass ^^ basically … sweet is the way to go :) hope this helps !
Using apples (one of the cheaper varieties of fruit) as the example, and assuming your bottle comes out to normal quality as a baseline. Just crunching some basic numbers here: 3 apples purchased; $42. So essentially the cost of creating 1 bottle of apple nectar is $42 ingame currency. A bottle of "Not Yet Aged" apple nectar goes for $55. So, already you're seeing a profit of $13 for a freshly made bottle (again, normal quality baseline). Now... A "Finely Aged" bottle of normal quality apple nectar lands at a whopping $1,155. Over 27x the original price of the $42 spent on the 3 apples used to make the bottle in the first place, lol. Now, having said that... I only just started doing this, myself. So I don't yet have any full storage racks of nectar bottles yet. But, assuming the prices simply stack: Each storage rack has a capacity to hold 13 bottles of nectar. More base math. 13 (bottles) X $55 ("Not Yet Aged" apple nectar) = $715 per storage rack. 13 (bottles) X $1,155 (Finely Aged apple nectar) = $15,015 per storage rack. This is... pretty impressive, actually. So you're *DEFINITELY* better off waiting for the bottles to age, lol! If you really wanted to, you could probably get an entire family involved, and set up a sort of cycling system where you separate aged bottles from the un-aged ones. But honestly, that sounds a bit hardcore and a bit like too much work for a simple point and click leisure game to me. You do you, though. xD But yes, this is stupid levels of easily profitable. The hardest part is just getting started and getting your ingame market franchise off the ground.
i feel like for me nectar being the source of money is kind of too easy my sim made like 20 bottles in one day and earned 100k simoleons after it became finely aged i need it to be more challenging
i hate needed patience to age nectar so i at least avoided waiting to build skill and make the nectar with a cheeky little shift click debug give all bottles teehee
When you used the set time cheat I just knew you’d break your game… In The Sims 2 this worked fine but in 4 the game will attempt to simulate all those game hours/days within seconds and this often results in a complete simulation breakdown. Sometimes it fixes itself but other times the game remains in a broken state. I heavily discourage the set time cheat!!
Whats annoying to me is all the wine making is behind the horse ranch expansion. I dont have any positive or negative feelings twords horses.
