    Your voice isn't annoying in the least. You're excited and enjoying yourself and it comes through in your voice. We're going to be going there this Thursday for a week. So thanks so much for the info and tour.

      Thank you!! All filmed on my iPhone with no external audio (in hindsight, it was a bit windy outside at some times, but it was just super easy to film handheld on the phone).

      I'm so jealous: have a GREAT trip!! Be sure to check out the library. And let me know if you can find my book in there! Some friends dropped off a copy and I am curious if it is still in there -- this one -- amzn.to/39rfb2V

    One of the best travel Vlogs i've enjoyed watching. Yes, some light background music would add a nice touch to the production. Your attention to the the details of the location is perfect. I definitely want to see more of your work. Thanks, Steve S.

    Apparently there is some MAJOR remodeling that happened between this video on when ever Google Earth took it's areal pictures.
    I agree with others. You come across as very excited yet not over the top for this calm hotel! Great Job! Thank you for the video.

    Thanks for the tour! I remember the old Lodge at Koele, this is a nice change. What was the vibe like there...understaffed and nervous, fully staffed and all open...? Have to say those Boteros would leave me unable to eat.

    • @nickgray
      @nickgray  2 роки тому +1

      Hi and thanks for being the first comment on my video for Sensei Lanai! The vibe was great. The staff did not feel nervous at all... seemed to be fully staffed and all open. The Boteros were AMAZING!! Check out my blog post for a full rundown on all the Boteros, I posted a ton of pictures at nickgray.net/sculpture-lanai/

    What an amazing video. Thank you for sharing. Are the onsen free for guests or you have to pay and reserve a time? Same question with the pool and gym haha. Did you have to pay if you used the coffee maker in the room? Sorry I'm cheap and planning to stay there next month haha.

    • @nickgray
      @nickgray  2 роки тому +1

      Hello! Yes, the onsen are totally free for guests to use at any time. Same with the gym and the pool: totally free for guests. The coffee maker is free, too! If you are cheap (like me!) then you might enjoy some of the restaurants in town. We liked breakfast at Blue Ginger Cafe and dinner from Chengdu Taste, also dinner from Ganotisi's Pacific Rim Cuisine.

    • @Jono2002
      @Jono2002 2 роки тому

      @@nickgray Thanks so much for getting back to me with the bonus info, I appreciate it. I try to go to Blue Ginger every time I go there since that is the only restaurant that has been there since I was a kid haha. Chengdu is at the original Lana'i hotel? Their restaurant used to be expensive so I'm not sure I want to risk that one. But I guess anything is cheaper than the four seasons restaurants haha. Thanks again for the amazing tour! I hope your family had a great time and you can return soon. Lana'i is my favorite island!
