I gained and lost braincells by watching this.
:D
Guess I found a new channel that I'll be loving.
:)
What a phenomenal first video! I rarely ever get to see the birth of a new channel anymore, and one with such a strong start too! Instantly subscribed for your charm, education, and quality of content.
Thank you :) You're too kind
As a native Russian and Fluent Engrish... This was great. The duck part was so random lol. (but interesting fact) also keep this going. Amazing start, if you keep this to regular basis, you will be huge.
Thank you so much :)

Lost it on "датъ". Good job!
I stumbled upon this video and it was a blast! I've been studying Russian since 2008 (I'm Brazilian with Portuguese + German as native languages) and as you already know, learning a language is a never ending process.
By the way, as the other Russian viewer pointed out, your accent speaking Russian is just fine, way above the average of anglophone speakers.
Cheers!
Thank you very much!
The birth of a great channel we are witnessing
:))
Мне очень понравилось и видео, и анимация, и стиль of the narration and the extremely cute and likeable characters :D I subscribed and liked immediately. Love supporting other new channels ✌️Cant wait to see your part 2 with картинка в ушанке)
Mii
Found this on reddit pretty cool
:)
I have only 1 complaint. Need more :D, this was a fun watch.
Thank you very much!
Keep up the good work, как говорится!))
England: We're gonna shake up our country by decimalizing our currency.
Russia: Pfff, amateurs!

) thank you!
Great video! It's obvious that a lot of effort went into it, thank you very much.
Thank you very much! :)
This was both funny and quite informative. I love linguistics, and never realized the history of the Russian language was so interesting. Amazing first video. Can't wait to see more.
Thank you very much!
This certainly looks like a channel I'm going to follow, great content, keep it up
Thank you very much!
It’s not easy to produce a video with such a brilliant balance of humour and intellectually stimulating content…
I have often wondered if it would be better for more teachers to take this kind of route when teaching… I understand that it’s not for everyone but I do think that dry humour can really help with the drudgeries that you often find in school curriculums.
I recall both my physics and English teachers having this quality, and it definitely helped my knowledge retention of their lessons.
Thank you very much Jacob, that means the world to me
Thanks a lot! It was very fun and educating)
Thank you :)
Great pronunciation! And interesting topic and delivery. Keep it up!
lovely video, keep it up! :)
Thank you Paul, truly appreciate it

I'm glad you enjoyed it :)
This is so fantastic. What's your background, and how did you decide to start making videos on UA-cam?
Dam new channel that ima be watching at 3 am.

"Меня зовут хлем

Strong words! So much depth!
I learned a lot more from your video than I did on Wikipedia. Love your rendition of (God Save the Tsar!)
Thank you very much! :)
10:49 That EU4 reference.
Great video, by the way!
Thank you very much my friend!
It is not only the orthograph reform that made the literacy rate so high, but the accessible public education and the socialist methods that allowed this. Mainly the Libkez is the best example of this.
4:35 why did "Боже Царя Храни" just start randomly playing. It wasn't even the anthem when Peter the Great was the Tsar. Anyway keep up the good content!!!
A great anthem deserves some love :) thank you!
Keep up uploading new videos we will watch it and make your channel boom.
Thank you for your kind words
By the way why does the Morse code say: the all - russian nnot egress of soviets has formed
Help
Why my doing this to myself
@@miiiiiiiiiiii can you make a video about this please?
This is dope, zapratila!

:)
I'm learning russian, and all the russian bits i could read had me laughing :D
Glad you enjoyed it :)
I very much enjoyed this but I miss the hard sign at the end of words. It is a useless mute fillip but it looks cool
Why are you so good, товарищ?
Does anyone know what the content of the morse code at 9:03 is?
It is the radio telegraphic message sent by the Bolsheviks on the 12th of November, 1917 that states:
"The all-Russian Congress of Soviets has formed a new Soviet Government. The government of Kerensky has been overthrown and arrested. Kerensky himself has fled. All official institutions are in the hands of the Soviet Government"
@@miiiiiiiiiiii Thank you!
Хочу ещё видео, do some more!!! :)
I'm prepeared to die. Great informative video!
So am I, thank you haha
12:04 Oh, I know
I’ve seen an extreme lack of comments asking what the Morse code meant. What does it mean, dad?

Is it still possible to make a spelling reform in this day and age?
Definitely! Each language institution deals with it differently but many pass reforms every now and then. Some even every few years :)
You have three cats now)))))
But seriously, good job.
Thank you!
I LOVE IT
Thank you))
very nice, my wonderful balkan boi

Hvala brate :)
Great fucking content. There is zero reason this channel should have less subs than mine. You got my sub!
Thank you very much!!
This is a new comment
Great video. Keep it up and produce content regularly and you'll be living off youtube in a year.
Thank you brother!
@@miiiiiiiiiiii And also, I subscribed at 175 subscribers. Will be awesome to brag about in two years when you break a million subs ;)

Why is this so high quality wtf

Peter the Great wearing Monomakh hat? Interesting

Если интересно, здесь рассказано подробно и с фактами почему это не так web.archive.org/web/20160419200423if_/sputnikipogrom.com/history/53838/empire-education/#.VxaPtC35aRv
