- Shocking footage shows the risks a dangerous driver who hit speeds of 100mph on the wrong side of the road took while trying to flee from police. Louis Roser failed to stop for officers then put lives at risk driving his uninsured Audi A3 into oncoming traffic on the A390 through Hewas Water in Cornwall.
The footage shows Roser weaving in and out of traffic, seemingly crashing into a hedge at one stage before resuming his escape but eventually cops stopped him at a roundabout. The three-minute pursuit on October 11 ended when the traffic unit in tow carried out a tactical stop before the car entered St Austell.

Brilliantly calm police communication and decision-making at 90 mph. Superbly trained officer. Bravo!
13 months! What is wrong with these bloody judges! If he commits another driving offence when released, the judge should be in the dock with him!
Should be five years for driving like that.
And banned 3 yrs from getting behind the wheel???? Yeah that's gonna work! The judges ( some) aren't too smart.
No prison space, no different here in Ireland, theyre letting out rapisrs and cant even find places to put in new ones
@@almilhouse9059agree! We need to get many more prisons built, because the way things are going, we are going to need them
Imbeciles like this will NEVER comply with rules of the road. He’ll be back out with no insurance ( I’d love to see his insurance quote if he did buy some 😂)no tax , no mot ect ect . Obviously it will just steal cars instead.
Thumbsdown for all the stupid popup texts blocking the video.
Was just about to say the same - very annoying
Was it just me or was there some background lift music added too? 😂
"Will.not be tolerated" = only 13 months in jail! No insurance, threatening to kill other road users, failing to stop, dangerous driving, destroying public property.
He probably told the judge that he does charity work and was a mate of Jimmy Savile; therefore, he got a lenient sentence.
Seems ridiculously lenient. Maybe he had a cat.
That's the weak and spineless brits for you. They are the new french
No, he was the son of CEO of a large British company who had lawyers that charged two thousand pounds an hour. Dad also happened to go to the same school as the Judge. That was simply coincidental though!@waltersobchak1719
13 months in jail is 13 months longer than most democrat shitholes in Amerifrica.
Brits always sound so polite, even in stressful situations.
We don't all sound like this honey, you realise the accents and attitudes vary so much here you'd think we live in different countries lol
They're professionals that's why. The average British person wouldn't sound like this in that type of situation. 😂
@@AM-dk5ym Oh I’m aware of different British/Scottish/Irish accents. I think my favorite is Glaswegian, I really have to listen to even begin to comprehend. I know they are speaking English, but only get about every 3rd or 4th word.
Then you'll know Brits ain't like this because Glaswegians are the roughest of the bunch hahaha@@u4riahsc
@@u4riahschaha no they are just drunk, legally everything you drink in Scotland has to be alcoholic. 😂
Got to love the Scot’s though, usually a great sense of humour and they look great in a kilt. 😅
Years ago I used to do this stuff. The reason we still have vermin willing to put everyones life in danger is because of the ludicrous sentencing. A few months in prison for endangering the lives of countless and letting the fool drive again in a mere three years!!
Costs money to keep people in prison though, cheaper to keep them on the loose.
So by your own admission you are one of these vermin?
what is with the pop up messages covering the video. that was frustrating. instead place small conversation messages at the bottom of the frame
Oh look, it’s an Audi driver 😂😂😂
This is the problem. Sentencing. He endangered dozens of lives and will spend just 6 months in prison and received a 3 year ban? How about giving these thugs 1 year in prison and a 1 year driving ban on release for every minute they fail to stop for police?
I like your thinking
Indeed.
I was a volunteer firefighter for 18 years (country / rural Australia). My local area was a dumping ground for stolen vehicles - invariably torched at the end of the joyride. One day, ONE DAY !!! we went to a fire where the car hadn't fully caught, fire had just burned over the bonnet and roof, but NOT the petrol-soaked interior (strange, but true). With a beaming smile I said to police on their arrival, "we have a SURPRISE for you" - the metal Jerrycan sitting on the back seat had clearly visible greasy hand prints!! I pointed this out to police and the fact that fingerprints would ID the culprit. "Ah, there's no point" said the police officer. (?????) 'Officer, it's likely to be a repeat offender, you probably have the fingerprints on file' I said. "But the courts just bail them" said the cop and drove off.....
@@OhSoddit That doesn't surprise me in the least. What the hell have we descended to?
So 13 months out in 6 1/2 months. Well done My Lord. Bravo. (Very very slow clap).
Pathetic sentence. Should have been jailed for 20 years. He could have wiped out a family.
So out in around 7 months to do it all over again what a joke our justice system is.!!!😢😢😢
He certainly should have been banned from driving for life. People like that forfeit their right to drive on the road.
The oncoming driver's wouldn't think it was medium risk.
To all those saying the judge is at fault for the light sentence - its worh stating that we (collectively) limit the judge's power on sentencing by electing MPs to make laws. In this case Dangerous Driving carries a max 2 year sentence and with a third off for a guilty plea puts the realistic maximum at the judge's disposal at 18 months - so the sentence is pretty close to the max. Would have been closer if there had been children in the car or if he'd crashed into a "civilian" car or injured someone, been on bail for another offence etc. You can go to the sentencing council website and look for yourself and see what you'd decide given the legal limits to your power. If you think its too light a sentence for something like this then its your local MP you need to lobby to change the law not the judge for following it.
13 months 😂 the justice system is a joke 🤦🤦
Do you have to put a box over the video?! We can see what the fuck is going on! Dont need a description!
It should be 7 years in jail and a lifetime ban.
Charge him for attempted murder. Hope he rots in jail.
Crash ? He just drove on to the verge.
Stupid captions are too large and obstructing the video
Random question. Does the ban start when he is released from prison or does it start from the time sentence is passed
Usually from when it is imposed, i.e the day of sentencing in court.
Rope
I never understand why these drivers are not charged for each failure to comply with traffic signs and road markings. Shouldn't the driver in this video have been charged for each instance they crossed double white lines and drove to the right of 'keep left' signs?
Because they were prosecuted for the much more serious offence. Prosecuting everything would just lead to more paperwork rather than increased sentence as none of those road traffic offences carry a prison sentence attached
@@lorrydriverdotcom Yes, but they would’ve still been fined
13 months jail, what a joke!! Shouldve been 13 years!! At least.
He couldn't drive for toffee.
It was a felony stop.. so he took out the taser, and kindly helped him out of his car
Yeah..enforce the law..no matter what the civilian casualties will be...btw. thanks for putting subtitles nearly over the complete screen 😂
Outstanding policing. The officer was fast to stop the car at the first opportunity.
A 3 year ban!? Just take away the licence for good; driving is a privilege, not a right.
Was he from Cumbria. This happens every day in Cumbria as we have no speed camera's.
These scumbags need to understand that, while they might think they're Lewis Hamilton, they're absolutely not. Those bobbies all have extensive training (Police Advanced Driving) and they're always, always, always going to decision-make in the direction of public safety. That bobby could have snagged this guy anytime he liked, but he didn't. He waited until it was painfully obvious that this guy was getting desperate and then blocked him when he could safely do so. British Traffic Division guys and gals don't tend to "pit" but will usually do a rolling box but, in this case, they're going to watch for a mistake and block into something like a wall. Great work, folks.
Hard to see what's going on. Wished I had just skipped watching this.
Shame that the captions covered half the screen.
Jailed for 13 months and banned for 3 years. Disgraceful sentence
Oh I'm so glad he was jailed for 13 months!! I bet that taught him a lesson😔😔 what a joke
13 months what a joke!
To stop wreckless drivers like this...minimum ban of five years, take your driving test again..including, the theory test,
SHOW ME YOUR HANDS, SHOW ME YOUR HANDS.
That is the issue as I reckon the guy went on the wrong side and did all of those things knowing that pursuits are called off when things are very dangerous, a lot of people who have fled have owned up to taking risks during pursuits not because they had to but in attempts to get the chase called off. As for the ban, I was fined heavy and 6 points for having no license on a bloody scooter, there is no balance.
I was overtaken by an idiot like that last week
madness.
For all that and all he got was 13 months and 3 year driving ban! It should have been 5 years and 10 year driving ban.
Banned for 13 months, ridiculous should be 30 years
"HE WAS WATER IN CORNWALL?" What does that mean??????
Didn't see any crash
Youll never escape a specialist Traffic unit 👌
Putting other people in danger like he did he should have been banned for life.
these idiots should have the licence taken away permanently
I don't understand how cars can be not taxed or insured these days, the computer knows who they are and they must ping off ANPR cameras all the time
Was it Lewis 'i love myself' Hamilton driving 😅
Why such a lenient sentence sickens me
So after 7 months he'll be back on the road, i say this as having no insurance didnt bother him
Why can't we have sentences like that in the states ????
If it wasn't an AUDI it'd be a BMW 🤷
Driver then crashes through the rainbow Bridge crossing..
Too soon?
The police are putting the public at risk chasing these idiots .
Appalling driving, but this is how a lot of West Country motorists drive, whether the police are after them of not.😊
13 months…OMGDDD…what a joke!!
i didn,t see anything for all the pop ups on screen
Sentence was far to light.
Is this not a life sentence ?
Damn Janners
13 months 🤦should be banned for life after that .
It does not surprise me that this is an Aldi driver, BMW and Merc drivers are all amongst the worst drivers on Australian roads.
He’s obviously not British!!
Not a hundred miles per hour and not a real crash. Drove off the road at 65 mph
European laws have always been very lax.
Should be a permanent driving ban
Geofenced speed limiters would stop madness like this.
Then you will get people complaining about the 'nanny state' presumably they drive like this Muppet there
Too busy reading the typed messages and missed the stop.
CLICK BAIT! First and LAST video for me, BYE
Another needless police chase putting others in danger
Let me guess - you were the Audi driver...
Too soft
Boring crash.....
Waiting for all the boys who comment # oh Britain's finest citizen.
Oh wait...This isn't Bradford?😂😂
It's what they used to call straightening the road out, used in rally driving a lot.
The correct terminology is called an iron turn, straightening out bends, ......the same as ironing out creases in clothing is where this derives from
I thought the lad in the Audi was a very competent driver very good driving
Why do you think that? He drove at people and his whole plan hinged on hoping they reacted in time. Eventually someone didn't react, he had not planned for what he would do next, so panicked, lost control and panned it into the hedge. There's absolutely nothing competent about that at all! Anyone can put their foot down and drive at people. A skilled driver will know whether their manoeuvre is on, have a plan B and be able to predict things before they happen; he accomplished none of those.
@@ultra_vires here’s the thing this young man is a good driver so he could contribute to society he just needs a reboot
@@ultra_vires and that’s what we have government’s for
Should of banned him from driving for life
Forced off the road during a reckless police chase. Very poor driving.
A cracking example of how not to drive by both drivers. Supposed advanced driver? I wouldn’t trust him to drive a milk float.
That’s why he is in jail for Christmas. 👍🏼
Watch the video again, the Police driver did not put any other driver in danger nor did he loose control and crash his car, that's the difference between an asshole and a professional, oh and before you say it I am not a Policeman.
@waltersobchak1719He would've crashed.
Banned for only 3 years??? I would vote for 10 and then convince the department of motor vehicles to reinstate the driver's licence.
I agree!
US he gets a suspended sentences , 30 days no license and maybe 10 hours picking up roadside garbage
I would say banned for life, he could easily have taken a life.
@@bartdb7003 Scum like him would still drive no matter how long you ban them
@@headshopwaxat Do you come from a country that doesn't value life very much? I'd be interested to know where you come from, and whether you think a majority of your country's population would agree with you, or whether there's any chance they might think you're a libertarian whacko?
Does a majority of the population in your country, for instance, think you have an inalienable right to bear arms, despite all the evidence that it makes life more dangerous for everyone, and results in more carnage than in countries where the right to bear arms is taken much more serously, and restricted?
Only 13 months should be 5 years then banned from driving for life
Banned for 3 years! He should have been banned from ever holding any type of motorised transport license for life.
he'd ignore it
Audis. Anyone registering one should get an instant 10 points on their licence. It would save the DVLA some time.
Get your simple mind registered as a full time disability eh
You mean bmws! Right?
You mean Nissan micras
You mean Reliant Robin.
cyclists say the dumbest things
Everyone that thinks the pop ups in the video is annoying and just wants to watch the video
👇
That’s just typical Audi driving here in the UK...
yep. at first i thought it was a stolen car, but no, actual audi owner right there ladies and gentlemen. what a prick.
This must be so galling for the Police to stop and detain this idiots using cars as weapons for them to only get short sentences and bans. It’s unbelievable that judges are handing out such pathetic sentences for crimes of this nature.
Our Prisons are full. Im afraid I voted for the worst Government we have ever had . Forever cutting costs but lining their own pockets. Our Millionaire Judges live on another Planet and remain Tory supporters with fat pensions too. There is a massive void between ordinary people and the stinking rich now. Them and us!
where is the "100 mph shocking crash"? 🤔
Can you read?
you obviously didn't read the title right
audi driver training video
yeah this just looks like dashcam footage from my drive to work.
Just a normal audi driver 👍
Looks like your regular Audi driver to me
In America they would have given him a sponsor and put him in NASCAR
Audi driver probably didnt even know he had a police car behind him
Click bait. Not shocking. Happens every day. Didn't crash and certainly not at 100mph..
I think the maximum prison sentence for dangerous driving should be increased from two years to five.
Check your spelling of "minimum".
Nothing has changed for decades, Insurance Companies will tell you. Most accidents ? 1. Audi 2. BMW 3. Mercedes.
The law is an ass. The sentence handed down is no deterren. The 🤡 will be out in a matter of weeks and driving illegally. Should be a minimum of 10 years in prison and banned for life.
Its an Audi! surprise surprise
So funny. You accidentally put "13 months" in the written description. I'm quite sure you meant 13 YEARS?
