Kabul , Afghanistan, the Serena 5 start hotel in Kabul, the most luxurious hotel in kabul...i uploaded this last week but was pressured to delete it , it turned into a huge ordeal that go so out of hand and i left Afghanistan . I have the e mail giving me permission to film my room and the garden area , the rest i asked hotel security , theres nothing in here that isnt already on you tube so i reuploaded it . Its still a lovely 5 star hotel in Kabul , despite all the drama involved !

I cleared that Hotel in 2008 with my team, the Taliban had sent multiple suicide bombers in to attack it and had executed an American civilian in the lobby bathroom.
The Hotel was attacked many times during my years in that country.
that was then, now it is safe all country.

Whoever goes to Afghanistan always remember this country has been in war, for the past 30 years. This mean a 30 years old local Afghan man or woman hasn’t test the peace.
so watch out every steps you take.
Afghan’s are amazing people but because they have been at war, so we need to look For ourselves and have more patients in some challenging situations, just in case

While it is delightful to see that Afghanistan and afghans are being portrayed in a humane and quite beautiful way through UA-camrs such as Emma.
And people from all over the world watch such videos and think that all is well and peaceful within Afghanistan. I MUST point out a basic fact!
Afghans are not free. Poverty is the norm. And the peace which we enjoy is not an outcome of acceptance and tolerance, but of slavery. I wish the world to know that we do hope and work towards a truly liberal society where the State serves the rightful needs of people instead of imposing laws which are anything but rational or humane.
Another fact is: 40 years people of Afghanistan destroyed Afghanistan because of warlords, ethnic fighting, corruption, illiteracy and extreme interpretations of Islam mixed and confused with culture.
Let them rule their own country. They don’t like your liberalism. 😂 It’s important to not be a war monger. Especially with the afghans, u can’t win. Not even the russians can.

@@Enjoythethingsyouhave that’s not the reason they made me delete it , they had told me I could film The garden area in an e mail and then I uploaded it and they told me I wasn’t allowed the garden area when I have the e mail saying I was clearly allowed . There is many videos on you tube with the inside of this hotel so it’s nothing new here … it was the Hotel that made me delete it …nothing to do with reception areas

Too bad Emma! I was looking forward to seeing more of your detailed Afghanistan vlogs. I hope the Taliban will encourage more tourist to visit and ensure their safety with few restrictions other than to behave and don't be disrespectful. Tourists will only help Afghanistan financially and also dispelling myths that are not true.

Its not expensive according to European countries you only pay for sleeping room 100€ they give food also

Wow , I was actually trying to show people there are high standard hotels in Kabul , I don’t stay in such places , as most people that follow me know where I stay , and even camping in a tent in rural Afghanistan, so not quite sure what you mean about my “comfort zone “ actually these kind of places are outside my “comfort zone “ !
