How do you determine if a card is worthy to send in to grade? If a card is in perfect condition, how often have you found that it comes back a 10?
Typically when I'm looking for cards to send to PSA that I want 10s I look at the Centering. Typically you want it to be between 60/40 on Centering. 2# I check if there's no scratching on the Holo or print lines on it. 3# I check for any whitening on the cards edges. 4# I check the corners and make sure there's no Knicks or lipping on em. 5# I check the surface of the card on the front and back. I always watch out for dents kuz that can drop a cards grade drastically. Normally when I make sure of all of those then my 10 rates is pretty good. Remember that a PSA 10 is not a perfect card though. There's room for slight imperfections on the card in their grading scale.
@@Da_MexicanHipstRs_Mons Thanks for the tips! I have some cards that I wanted to send in, but was too nervous of them getting an 8 or 9. What are your thoughts on BGS? Is it worth trying to get a black label 10?

My 9 year old son just got into the hoppy. He is really into it and talks about it none stop. He especially loves Charizard cards and any VMAx. cards. So I did some research and made him a picture binder Nd attempting to include every Charizard card made including Topsun etc. glad I found your channel.

Oh wow, that's a wonderful thing you did for your son. I cant wait till my son is old enough to enjoy the Hobby too. Charizard is definitely one of the best pokemon. Pokémon is definitely a great thing to bond over👌

Who are your top 5 favorite pokemon?
I grew up loving Dragons so when I 1st saw charizard I instantly fell in love. That being said, Charizard and Rayquaza are tied. This is actually kinda tough when I actually think about it kuz there are so many cool pokemon. Groudon and Kyogre would have to be in there too. I do love the Legendary Dog Trios. Ho-oh and Mewtwo are amazing too😅. Dragonite is an OG too. Not really top 5 but it's as close as I can get😅

I really appreciate the kind words. Being the greatest TCG Player in any TCG is no small feat. I used to play Yugioh Competitively and that was such a Grind. So much time has to be put into game play practice. It's no joke but if you have the tenacity then why not.
I feel like pokemon has hit it's maximum peak and is on a downward trend until it drops off. Obviously I am nowhere near you and other bigger streamers level of involvement. But I only have one friend who is remotely interested in pokemon anymore. We had a group of 10 that would hang out and rip packs but the hype has really died down. Even their kids 10-14 year olds seem to be uninterested.
The information is all out there now. There is no more new information that can come out from vintage. It seems like the excitement from discovering new things is over for good.
Also there is so much modern printed it's hard to see value in any of it. When PSA pop reports can reach 10,000+ it feels wrong to 'invest' in it.sure the art can be great. But it's only going to get better and better. We will probably have 3d and 4d cards in the future with new technology.
@ImTheImmortalGod I understand where you're coming from. Sometimes I feel that way too but then I go to these bigger shows and I see the Hobby alone and thriving. Cards don't always have to be looked at as an investment. Alot of my cards I see as a collection. I used to have a bit of everything but I focused my collection a bit more. That way it's more maintainable and enjoyable. I have quite a few gold stars that I don't see as an investment. I buy em knowing I won't see em kuz I like em, my favorite cards to collect 😅

I'm mainly a yugioh collector n it's cool to see yugioh cards getting collected n ppl getting them graded for their PC like pokémon cards...I know ur a mainly a pokémon channel but u should do more yugioh cards if u can
I love YuGiOh, I used to play competitive for about 6 years. It can be such a grind tho😅. I always in the lookout for YuGiOh cards that I played with in those times or even the OG cards. It's just hard to pay those prices when YuGiOh just reprints the same exact card, rarity and everything and that version is like 5-1 buck. I started playing Edison format again too, just love the game.
@Da_MexicanHipstRs_Mons that's cool bro I never actually played correctly haha 😄 but I always loved the shows mainly the og yugioh n yugioh gx n i know a little of Edison format just by watching a few video here on UA-cam haha....yeah I get it I know it can get hard to move yugioh cause of the reprints

Im buying single cards right now because prices are down and im a collector. Think prices might be down for a while, which is good if you can wait the wait.
@oharshlkhsdj yea, thats true. One can never know that'll happen in a few months from now but you can always prepare with caution
