- Fred Meyer is an American chain of hypermarket superstores founded in 1931 in Portland, Oregon, USA, by Fred G. Meyer. The stores are found in the western U.S., within the states of Oregon, Washington, Idaho and Alaska. The company merged with Kroger in 1998, though the stores are still branded Fred Meyer. The chain was one of the first in the United States to promote one-stop shopping, eventually combining a complete grocery supermarket with a drugstore, bank, clothing, jewelry, home decor, home improvement, garden, electronics, restaurant, shoes, sporting goods and toys. The western region of Kroger corporation is headquartered in Portland.

nice video.mate 👍👍
Thanks for the visit
That store is bigger than the Fred Meyer that I work at
They are put together SO much better than Walmart. I wish we had Fred Meyer in Minnesota
Grew up with this chain here in Oregon. I think it was a little bit better store when it was Still independent and owned by the original family. It’s still pretty good but lax that personal touch.
One of the things I like about them is that I complained at our local Fred Meyers down here in Oregon that given our proximity to Japan it wouldn't be particularly shocking if the Portland extended metro area had Japanese culture enthusiast and so start carrying Otaku and Anime USA and shortly after I complained that it wasn't among their periodicals I went back in and what do you know they have copies.
I'm typically the one who snatches them up.

@@Punchgod269 You know what dude whatever it's you people are missing out it is more popular than ever and it keeps growing and meanwhile if you even have the time to hate on someone just for being a weeb we all know you have nothing better to spend your time doing which means you're the Misfit not us. Liking Anime is not a personality flaw but hating someone for nothing more than the things they love definitely is. if you perceive me a flawed for it , your perception is the problem, not me.
@@paultidwell8799 Stop making youtube videos nobody is watching them why do you feel the need too reply too my opinion get a life 🤡
I remember when I was a kid they had the giant cows on the next to the milk section
You should do one of these for the Tumwater location 😛
Where is this Fred Meyer? Is it Shoreline?
I forgot exactly which one, but somewhere south of Seattle area, maybe Puyallup or Bonney Lake area
Can you or someone show us how to use the digital coupons at Fred Meyer?
Wish they still sold GI Joes
Did you the that the Fred Meyer company started in 1922? It wasn’t 1931. Fred Meyer celebrated their 100th anniversary in 2022.
Didn't know that, thanks for watching 😊
Where is this Fred Meyer located?
The Fred Meyers in Dimond Anchorage Location. It Sucked at keeping inventory in stock every time we go in there they would have an item 1 day the next day it would be gone. That’s why I go to Abbott or Northern Lights Fred Meyers Location it’s Bigger so that should mean it has a better job of keeping inventory in stock
Why did I search for a microphone to use for my Android phone?. Then end up seeing my local Fred Meyers that I visit multiple times a week?? 🤣🤣 Also, you could see my school at the beginning of the video 🔥🔥
tahoma high?
What’s on your list today?
Better pray there isnt a merger bewteen kroger and Albertsons. Retail will be screwed if it happens. Just like a walmart tactic. Close all the mom and pop stores down for good. Shady business pratices by kroger.
What is the Name of the Music at 1:55 ?
At 8:10 the tune sounds like the north star song from peppa pig
Where is it located exactly?
Sumner Wa
I forgot exactly which one, but somewhere south of Seattle area, maybe Puyallup or Bonney Lake area
@@PNW4K this is the Sumner FredMyers. You could see my school in the background lol. I think it's funny I typed in something completely different and Im seeing a guy video the FredMyers Ive gone to every week for years and years. 🤣🤣
It is the Bonney Lake store. 3 years ago when my girlfriend got hired, we didn't have a cashier trainer at the Tumwater store, so they actually sent her here to get trained. Now 2 years later we are both Front End Supervisors haha
I want to go to that store what’s that Fred meyers place called
It is in Sumner
The stack outs of the boxes of diapers is too much. Takes up too much space and clogs the aisle. Especially with how busy these stores get. Just put them on an endcap that gets a lot of traffic.
Same thing with having a shipper/display right in the aisle. All it's doing is blocking the product on the shelf. No shipper is ever more important than to have to block the shelf, be an eye sore, and get in the way.
Thanks much for watching 🤗
Yeah, everyone who works there hates the shippers/displays. It's a corporate thing. Funny thing is a lot of them don't move product at all. They'll just sit unsold. The endcaps are usually better.

And people say target is better😂😂

So this store doesn’t have a Home Department
It does have a home department. We'd always skip school and chill on the couches there lol.
Yes it does have a home goods department, and even sells some furniture.
