To me listening to him helped me get through my life and gave me so many answers that i had!! He was wonderful to listen to..... I will never forget him!!!!💞😍
I am currently reading Indaba My Children and I am so grateful that baba Credo left us so much written literature, so we could bask in his wisdom. One of my biggest regrets in life is not knowing that my father had a relationship with him, because I would have had a chance to meet the great sanusi. The opportunity to just meet baba Credo and hold his hand would have blessed my life forever. Interestingly it is the same way I feel now when I hold his book. We definitely stand on the shoulders of greats. My father, great in his own right, the now late Dr Nhlavana Maseko founder of the Traditional Healers Organisation was very pivotal in the fight for getting traditional healing recognized in South Africa as an official alternative to going to hospital and seeing a western medicine doctor. A fight that is still ongoing. This is the same man that was jailed in the early 80s by the then apartheid government for practicing traditional healing, because according to most white people if you are not aligned to their religion then you are deemed a witchdoctor. It's really important for us to know who we are as Africans. Who we were before the visitor sailed to our continent and enslaved and killed us with the purpose of stripping us of our own identity. And even this justification for why their religion is better than the way of living we were practicing on the land is bogus. If really God saw humanity not living right and He/She wanted to right the wrongs of the past, why wouldn't He/She bring such an important message to the cradle of humanity? There's so much proof that life started in Africa. We need to remember who we are Africans. Who we were before we "allowed" visitors to impose their version of our identity on us. These greats made their contributions. We also have to contribute to reviving the real identity of the African.
