You MUST watch Wind River. That's the final movie in this trilogy. Also, separately, you'll love the 2010 remake of True Grit starring Jeff Bridges (who was in this movie). These are both movies you'll rate very highly when done. I'm sure of it.
This movie is phenomenal, props for watching this. Feel like too many people sleep on it, and can't even get people irl to watch it, so I appreciate you watching this
Boy, you'd think there were 10 of me Also notice he already has his hand on this piece before his brother shows up to save that idiot dude's life by beating his ass
Hey Dev, you don't take 100s because they are tough to move. Loose bills are old and not numbered. There are so many banks robbed every day that they don't pay as much attention to small-town robberys. However, the use of guns and the firing of a gun would give them more attention. Dev, you are the man. The best reaction channel on UA-cam. Keep it up.
@@deving9793 Also, casinos give you receipts when you cash in your chips. So it wasn't really about swapping out the bills for clean ones, it was about getting a receipt from the casino.
He is absolutely amazing in Leave No Trace, which is a great movie that Devin should watch and probably the best movie about PTSD that I have ever seen. At it's heart it's a war movie even though there isn't any direct portrayal of war, no action and really no villains at all.
Honestly, maybe the most underrated movie of all time. It's in my top 5 movies all time and arguably #1. Just such a good story and narrative start to finish. Really gets you invested and attached to the characters. That's why the end hits so hard.
One of the greatest neo western films ever made!. In order to save their farm from being foreclosed, two brothers decide to rob several banks, while an aging Texas Ranger is on hot on their trail. Nominated for 4 Oscars including Best Picture.
YO YO YO!!! My family and I loved your reaction to this banger bro! I notice you don't do many reactions to "sci-fi" type movies. I know you love action/crime movies and I would like to recommend "UPGRADE" and "LOOPER" as fantastic gangster movies set in the future.
I also vote for Wind River recommendations. That film is so good and no one in youtube reacts to it. I’ve only seen one reaction. That film needs way more exposure
Have to agree with the Wind River suggestions. Fantastic movie!! Nothing fancy, no big bells & whistles. Just great writing, beautiful cinematography, & actors acting their butt off. As well as getting to watch Renner get surgical with his home loaded ammo for that badass Marlin. Maybe my fav Taylor Sheridan movie. Does a great job not force feeding you the plot/characters and sheds some light on the tough life of Native Americans.
Ranger Hamilton (played by Jeff Bridges) openly weeping at 18:42 after shooting Tanner is an amazing scene. So many movies and shows show people acting tough and hard after killing someone and even if it's justified, it can not be that easy for someone that isn't a psychopath. There's a scene in the TV series "Burn Notice" (episode: Down Range) where one of the main characters, who is a former Navy SEAL, has to shoot a guard who just happened to stumble upon an operation and he instantly lowers his head and spits his gum out. Every time I took a shot that hit someone in the Army, I was the same way. I know it was justified, but it just didn't feel right ending a human life.
4:07 $100 bills are typically the notes with the anti-theft countermeasures; sequential bills, ink-packets, marked bills, etc. Various small notes are typically provided through transactions by the public and are clean (untraceable.)
Taylor Sheridan is an extremely talented writer (Sicario, this film, Wind River). I love this film, think all the actors are phenomenal especially Bridges!
They can track 100 dollar bills easier that’s why they said no 100s, they said no bundles because they can lace ink sacs in the hundred dollar bill bundles
OMG, you ended up watching this. I had a feeling you would like it. This movie gives you the better ending that we didn't get for No Country for Old Men.
EXCELLENT choice! Yet another Taylor Sheridan masterpiece. I cannot WAIT for you to see "Wind River" when you get around to it. And if I can add another, the new version of "True Grit", also with Jeff Bridges. He crushes it in both movies. And Devin, don't let your lady catch you talking about the waitress who gets the big tip after the impromptu bank robbery!
"Concealed carry permits really complicate a bank robbery don't they?!" Best line of the whole movie hands down... Naw idk I'm stuck between that one and "Do you know what that makes me? Commanche." His character had so many good lines! Super under rated movie.
I really like this movie. The fact that it wasn’t mostly filmed on a Hollywood backlot or California desert and mostly filmed in New Mexico and Texas they got the aesthetics and culture mostly right. They filmed a good portion of this within miles of where I live in Eastern New Mexico, and though it’s a Texas based film the culture is what really stood out to me. BTW, that restaurant they were eating at when Ben Foster’s character robbed that bank has great breakfast burritos.
Older brother was ex military and the graffiti on the wall at the beginning of the movie says it all "3 Tours in Iraq but no bailout for people like us." The tone was set.
let's go, happy to see you reacting to this great movie. Hope to see you react to The Negotiator (1998) one day, one of the better Samuel L Jackson movies IMO
In the army, they always tell you not to use a vehicle's hood for cover because a round can skip right off and hit you. The Native American guy got hit like that. That was good research on the filmmaker's part.
One my favorite movies. The only drawback, when I watch it, my accent comes out heavy. I'm from Texas, but living in Canada. It poses a communication problem. lol
Damn Big Dawg I haven't seen anybody react to this badass movie!! You digging deep I like it lol check out The Fighter with Mark Wahlberg!! Much ❤️ bro 🤘
Hundreds are oftentimes where they store dye packs. It also looks more suspicious if you go to cash them in somewhere (like at the casino where they were laundering them) and you have a ridiculous amount of hundreds.
You MUST watch Wind River. That's the final movie in this trilogy. Also, separately, you'll love the 2010 remake of True Grit starring Jeff Bridges (who was in this movie). These are both movies you'll rate very highly when done. I'm sure of it.
Taylor Sheridan.... yep... Just wondering is your username an hommage to Children of men?
What's the 3rd in the trilogy?
@@JaHawkey70 Sicario, Hell or High Water, Wind River
@@aleksikulmala6397 thank you kind sir!
All movies by same director? I love high water & wind river. Check out "the last son" yall. New western & it was bad ass af imo.
Love this flick and your reactions! I also recommend Wind River, same guy who wrote this and Sicario wrote and directed it, fantastic movie.
Agreed, Wind River was amazing! Elizabeth Olsen and Jeremy Renner were terrific!
What a great movie good cast too, I also suggest Carrier's but wind river is a great one same with zodiac killer r suspect zero
Definitely give Wind River a try. Very good movie.
The writing in wind river is so good
No one reacts to Wind River. That film is so good
This movie is phenomenal, props for watching this. Feel like too many people sleep on it, and can't even get people irl to watch it, so I appreciate you watching this
And mr hero was stupid. It's the banks money not yours, don't throw down like that
You would like A Place Beyond the Pines. Probably Drive too.
The gas station scene has to be one of the greatest of all times! Really good movie!
Boy, you'd think there were 10 of me

Wonderful film. Wonderful acting.
I never hear anyone talk about Ben Foster but he's killed it in every movie I've seen him in.
He is absolutely amazing in Leave No Trace, which is a great movie that Devin should watch and probably the best movie about PTSD that I have ever seen. At it's heart it's a war movie even though there isn't any direct portrayal of war, no action and really no villains at all.
Absolutely, criminally underrated actor
He stole the movie 310 to Yuma as Charlie Prince
Ben was absolutely phenomenal in this movie. I would even say “award worthy”……5
Truly, he’s great in everything I’ve seen him in. Alpha Dog, he’s completely insane. Here, he’s a Comanche! Lord of the Plains!
Same guy that was behind the movie Sicario and the show Yellowstone (Taylor Sheridan). My favorite movie of his is Wind River
Honestly, maybe the most underrated movie of all time. It's in my top 5 movies all time and arguably #1. Just such a good story and narrative start to finish. Really gets you invested and attached to the characters. That's why the end hits so hard.
Great movie with excellent performances by Ben Foster and Chris Pine. Bridges too
Me and my moms favorites along with “No Country for Old Men”
oh hell yeah - another Tyler Sheridan classic. Wind River next!!
Great movie, was my choice for Best picture that year.
I love that you’re reacting to so many movies I love that no one seems to ever talk about
This movie is good. I loved the bro that died.. omg great actor & the movies he is in & his roles are always played well imo
Wind River is a great movie but also hurts my heart.

Glad you enjoyed it brother, this movie is like a good scenario of ethics

My favorite character in the movie is the two waitresses. The big tip and the "What don't cha want?" Entire movies is great though.
One of the better movies in more recent years and I heard they're a making a show which could be interesting.
