How to travel from Phuket to Krabi| Seasickness in Ferry Ride ,Travel by Air OR By Road????

Today I am going to talk about how you can travel from Phuket to Krabi?
There are 3 ways: 1. By Air, 2. By Road & 3. By Ferry.
By the way we opted for the third option.
1. By Air you won't get the direct flight, all the flights will be Via Bangkok. Minimum travel time will be 7-8 hrs and as per me I dont feel going by air is a good option from Phuket to Krabi.
2. By Road you have 2 options - Bus or Taxi. Going by bus from Phuket to Krabi is the cheapest option within 5 dollars per person and its journey time is also 2.5hrs.
A Taxi will cost you from 90 dollars for a trip which lasts for around 1hr 45min. The Phuket to Krabi distance is 180 KM by road.
If you have a huge luggage then by taxi is a better option.
3. By Ferry. The Phuket- Krabi Ferry route connects Phuket Island with Thailand. The nice thing about taking the ferry from Phuket to Krabi is that it’s incredibly scenic and a relatively comfortable way to travel because you can walk around and stretch your legs far more than you can when traveling by bus. Unfortunately Ferry are not suitable for those who suffer from seasickness.
I also suffer from seasickness but I want to explore this ferry ride, so what I did was I kept some tangy flavored toffees with me and also I slept in first half of my journey & enjoyed 2nd half of my journey.
I hope this information will be helpful for those who are planning to travel Phuket & Krabi.

If you suffer from sea sickness,it’s always best to sit out in the air,as it tends to be the motion of the boat rocking that causes sea sickness,plus if you do need to heav your stomach,you can do so over the side.

Hi Arun,
When you reach Phuket and you have to travel phi phi tomorrow then you should book the ferry atleast 1day before you travel, as this is the early morning affair of travelling.

It is possible but it will be very hactic as it is 2 n 1/2 hrs of ferry ride and you won't be able to explore krabi properly in few hrs.
You should atleast have 2nights stay as per me.
