Self made at 25 years old is very rare but heir at 25 years old. They have a higher percentage

I guess it adds more to the storyline. Having an heir means the family are more controlling and want an arranged marriage with someone they approve of. The MC doesn't care about that and will happily date someone poor if they love them. Typical Kdrama plot
Sometimes they do have self-made. Although almost invariably they are exceedingly controlling and kind of dicks. But they do exist it's just more rare than this option.

I will point out lists off the reasons why it's a problem. He is rich but he had her working overtime to make money to buy him things. He lied about his company having problems so she spent multiple nights helping him come up with business plans. He lied about needing to get a job so she got one of her friends to give him a recommendation for a job interview. The Man lied repeatedly and she bent over backwards to help him of course she has a reason to be pissed. Also if you have been dating somebody for 3 years and they have been lying about what their job is yeah that's a gigantic glowing and blinking red flag. 3 years as she points out is over a thousand days during which the guy just lied to her like non-stop apparently. I mean he even lied about what kind of food he liked, so that she would learn to cook other food so that he would feel at home, where the hell would somebody do that that is psychopath behavior.
These communist dramas are notorious for spreading the idea of judging people from monetary wealth.
you can just say Chinese Drama, its about people's desire to feel like there is a way up from the bottom. Just like in all cultures, there is the Majority that is poor that wants to feel like there is a path to wealth. This desire transcends any of the ism
