Alhamdulillah the people of Misr have been blessed by Allah SWT, in my opinion, with the most beautiful voices for the recitation of the Quran. I have never heard such amazing combinations of melodious tone as well as power in the voice while reciting the Quran than I have when listening to the Shaikhs & Qaris from Egypt. Abdul Basit is a perfect example of this and my personal favorite reciter to listen to MashaAllah!
