One of my favs as well. I love that sort of reggea lead guitar in the verses. The song really encapsulates that sort of positive yet dark and broody sound you guys do so well. Love hearing your thoughts on each song and there history. What other songs are old demos? I actually thought this might have been written around the time of overdose and misery cause it def has DM vibes with some sprinkles of VN
Unpopular opinion but this is the best song on the album. The melodies are atmospheric and haunting, love the screams coming from a place of pain and longing. I can really feel this one more than the others. Amazing album.
Screaming is so much more powerful when you save it for cathartic releases of emotion, such as the bridge in this song. Telle has always been one of the best screamers, and I really like how he only reserves using it as a tool in his arsenal for JUST the right moments on this album...it makes it so much more impactful when he DOES scream. I used to want the classic verse-scream chorus-sing, but I find myself being much more impressed with and stricken by this album’s stylistic choices of screaming. I’ve never gotten chills with screams outside of Architects and a few other songs, but damn, the super high screams he does in this song just EAT away at my soul, it’s like I can feel what he’s going through. Amazing.

I have the while set from the show I went to a few weeks ago for twa on my channel. he sounded so good live. can't wait to see them open for star set

It's a fantastic album for sure. Life Cycles is my favorite TWA album. But I love this band and all of their stuff so much. To me, they can't write a bad song or album.
liam ramsay Luke Holland is one of the best drummers in the world for sure and yes he was a beast with the word alive but he just overplayed some songs way too much when it didn’t need it. Matt horn plays everything perfectly and it flows much nicer. Luke and Jason Richardson fit perfectly together with their technical shredding abilities :3

BUT since you and I grew up in different parts of the world, with different life experiences, and perhaps a couple generations apart we experience this song in different ways, on different days, in different moods, eating different foods. Different people "can't get into this sound" because they are different people - that's all. Shall we discuss Gregorian Chant dubstep from Lithuania?

The back half of this song is alright but the rest (and the entire of the album) is just radio crap imo. as a long time TWA fan this album is far too soft, gonna be a skip for me, not adding it to my playlist. not my thing, i'm sure many of their new fans like it though.
all i can say is how could you possibly have a proper experience after listening to the album once?? Another thing, I dont understand the people that love DM but dont like this album or VN. Its more of that!!
