Love this very much. Many disagreements over the lyrics. I neither know nor care what the correct lyrics are. You don't play a CT record to have a singalong. I'm sure the lyrics don't make a lot of sense either. It all just magical sounds to me.

well wouldn't that include treasure? everything after treasure i think lacked intensity. which is why they were so ahead of their time with this sound.
the best part is .. The Music is still, after all these years, so FRESH , unique and original, . those of us who know get to enjoy this for ever.

It's not that we're too afraid. Some of our modern singers have better childhoods then the ones. The Cocteau Twins have had.
Oh there is gutsy/original music out there today (and 15 years ago), but it never gets promoted as it is now considered "niche."
It's unrepeatable anyway.
