Joshua Andrew Green's Memorial Video

Mr. Joshua Andrew Green was called to rest on Sunday, August 6, 2023. He was born October 19, 2000, in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is the son of Mark D. and Cassandra Green. Joshua was baptized in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit at an early age (15) at Saint Mark Baptist Church on June 5, 2016, under the leadership of Reverend Phillip L. Pointer, Sr. During his time at Saint Mark Baptist Church, he was a member of the Youth Department and Cub Scouts Pack 467.
He was a 2019 graduate of Maumelle High School, where he was a member of the Maumelle High School Marching & Concert Band. He was also a member of the National Honor Society. Joshua attended the University of Central Arkansas in Conway, Arkansas, where he studied History and Geography.
Joshua was employed with Academy Sports in Little Rock, Arkansas. He worked at Legacy Heights in Russellville, Arkansas, where he received his Certified Nursing Assistance License (CNA). Joshua was very passionate about helping people and really enjoyed his job. He relocated to Dardanelle, Arkansas, and became employed with Tyson Foods, where he was employed until his departure.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother - Barbara Jean Smith.
He leaves to cherish his memory - his wife, Maria Garza De Green of Dardanelle, Arkansas; parents Mark and Cassandra Green of Little Rock, Arkansas; grandparents - Charles and Betty Wesson of Altheimer, Arkansas; brother Corey (Lennethea) Green of Conway, Arkansas; sister Candice Green of Plymouth, Minnesota; like a sister Syriah Bohanna of Maumelle, Arkansas; and a host of loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday, August 14, 2023, at St. Mark Baptist Church Little Rock, AR. Funeral Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 15, 2023, at St. Mark Baptist Church Little Rock, AR by Pastor Sipho Mhlanga. Interment in Pinecrest Memorial Park Cemetery Alexander, AR by Brown Funeral Home of Pine Bluff, AR. His body will lie in-state 10:15 a.m. until service time.
