I think a celebration or a memorial would be fitting. This is a huge part of yourself and it just makes sense (to me, anyway) to seek out the support, the nurture and the love of your goddesses. It is also kind of a rite of passage. We may not all lose our ovaries or uterus (or all of the above) but we definitely come to the Crone stage of life at some point ... and for some, the Mother and Crone stages kind of meld together. I believe honoring your organ and ritualizing the 'sacrifice' would be a beautiful way to commemorate this trial. I have given similar offerings during crucial surgery times where I made things related to the specific deity; like a clay yoni, small woven tapestry, a branch wreath...
