Those are gorgeous on you. I have Whirl and Men love mystery. You are correct about Instigator not sure what to line my lips with or if it needs a liner. Definitely like it better than Smoked purple.

whirl and persistence look nothing alike on me. Persistence looks like I concealed my lips and then added a bit of a mauve lip liner. Whirl looks a few shades darker than persistence on me. Instigator looks completely different on you than on me as well. It looks like a true royal purple on me. The girl at MAC's jaw dropped, because she said she'd never seen it look like that on anyone. She said it looked like smoked purple on her and everyone else she saw.

Interesting. Yep the tone of our lips plays a huge part in what a color looks like. Sometimes even our skin tone will make a color look different
