Yes..i think it isn't absolutely correct, but I think it is because even if they're good there are too many kpop groups created every year and many old kpop groups who lasts even nowadays so it is harder for them as many other groups exists to attract and make it big. Even if they really deserve it

I watched the Mixnine audition and I'm frankly amazed at what they have achieved with a company that small. They basically have a practice room.
beat interactive have used their resources very wisely to nurture these kids T_T they were part of 1M dance company, you can actually see the members in some of their dance videos! and their vocal trainer was the vocal trainer for pd101 & jyp's twice!
The dark horse of K-pop. No one will notice them until it's too late and they're taking the crown. Watch it happen. Just watch.

You know what disappoints me here? People who do not appreciate A.C.E's hard work and devotion. They are rookies who brings totally different vibe to kpop and also tells a story, their songs is not just music and dance but also a message they want to convey.
The same goes for a.c.e they are not just visuals, vocalists, dancers, people who only watched a.c.e bc of shorts and that's all what they know about them makes me sick. Each member went through a lot to finally debut, do you remember how jun and donghun were crying after the debut showcase? Or you havent even seen it because their feelings and hopes doesnt matter to you?
A.C.E are perfectionists who always work hard to deliver only the best for their Choices. Find another rookie group who interacts with their fans so much as a.c.e (fanmeetings, ig fb lives, answering to fans' questions on twitter when they announce siritime (which usually is at 11pm kst, but last week jun and chan were answering around 1am kst) sometimes they answer to fans' tweets out of the blue. A.C.E always tell fans to take care of themselves and be healthy, when the real concern should be their health, the choreo for callin actually is even faster than for cactus, the dance itself could be serious workout not to mention that they have to sing. Their first comeback stage ended late, but on the next day early at the morning they already were at the music bank and few members wore the same clothes as from yesterday's fanmeet, making many worried if they even had time to go back at the dorms and sleep at all. During the music bank performance they sang 100% live (except for chorus, it had some mr) and there was a part where after the dance break donghun and seyoon sounded out of breath. It was a short moment but later on they apologized and said it was regretful. It really hurts to see them tired and disappointed when they give their all, even though they try to hide it by joking and making fun of themselves. Callin promotions is not all what they are dealing with right now, jun and chan also have to practice for the unit (jun there is the leader of the Black team, in the unit they already had two mvs to film, two choreographies to learn, and if you heard the song "one last" you should've noticed that jun got a lot of lines and screentime even though he isnt in top9)
There are people who talk about a.c.e flopping, just get your facts straight. A.C.E are rookie group who debuted under small, new and uknown label and their mv is not uploaded on 1theK or another popular kpop channel and it's really upsetting how little people actually knew about their comeback. I'm not saying this bc I'm Choice, but the mv is a masterpiece and deserves way more views. Sadly it's only on their channel and Sony music has claimed copyrights so this mv doesnt appear when you search for it and was (might still be) blocked in some countries.
Since the cactus era our fandom got bigger, in the past there would've been impossible to get 200k views only by our fandom in 2 days, but now we did it (if you dont believe me just read the commmets 99% are from choices, also their yt channel grows almost as usually, only 7k new subscribers in 3 days).
What A.C.E needs now is the active support, not coming few days later and saying that you didnt know about the comeback, writing a commnet about how proud you are and that you are waiting what A.C.E will show in the future, then leaving till the next comeback... They need active support right now, talking about them, watching performances, voting on the charts and really supporting them is what a fandom should do, yet it feels like many people just leave A.C.E to get popular on their own because they are good, but that's not how it works in kpop, here the size of the fandom means everything (their first comeback stage on mcoundown wasnt even uploaded on yt, yesterday in the Music Bank choices weren't allowed to get in, why? Not popular enough) A.C.E always tries to keep in touch with choices and yearns for the feedback. The difference in numbers of people watching their buskings, dance, vocal covers and other content is astonishing. Do you even know what you stan (besides their names and that someone has braces)? Yeah they are talented dancers and vocalists, but do you also know how sweet, funny, humble, open, sincere and caring they are? Have you seen how they interact with each other? They are not just a team, not just a group, but a family. Watching them can make you happy, a.c.e has that chemistry and charms to make people fall for them, but they horribly lack exposure in the kpop world.
I hope that the number of people who are ready to support a.c.e through this journey from being here till they'll start getting awards and become known will keep increasing, A.C.E deserves that and way more, they always shower choices with love and work hard to make us proud. They succeed, but do we? The active part of our fandom is small (1-2k or less?) meanwhile the passive is more than ten times bigger...

i’m literally a multi fan so adding ACE to my list won’t be a problem but the problem is that they’re so slept on. this song and even the one released a week ago are masterpieces. why aren’t they gaining recognition? it’s been years, man.
This one probably because its Hardstyle and a litle extreme for the standart Kpop Fan, I dont know :D I am only listening to 50 Groups or so and then only other non Korean Artists and I love Hardstyle evan outside of Kpop, but many people I know that listen to genres often used in Kpop do not like Hardstyle or any other extreme electronic genre...

I actually fell in love with A.C.E when they debuted, I loved Cactus, but for me sadly when I heard I heard Callin' and heard how similar they were, I lost interest, safe to say it's something I now regret. It wasn't till Byeongkwan started MCing for Pops in Seoul that I heard more of their music and fell in love with them again. Note to self, at least wait till their 3rd comeback to give them all a fair chance.

I'm honestly just so hearbroken to see the a.c.e members at mixnine and the unit. They have worked so hard to debut, and now they work even harder to get popular. They should get more attention; not just for they're clothes, but becasue of their talent. Do you see how Jason both sing and rap? How the vocals are singing sick highnotes? Wow's incredible rapping? Visuals? The energi? How they all could be main dancers. This is not just me saying "stan ace" as everybody else says "stan that group". I'm serious. This is super rookies, and i am never going to get over the fact that they are not nominated to rookie group of the year. I hope that they won't disband, and that we can see a lot of them in the future as well. This is a great comeback!

a month later and ACE are dominating these shows 💪 💪 💪 DongWowSon are part of the top 20 in mixnine, with Jason ranking #3. JunChan are doing pretty well in the uni+ too! Jun's team won 1st place overall &got to participate in Rain's special stage in a music show. &Chan's team placed 2nd I think! What I like about them being on these shows is that 1. they have a stage where they can show their talent &people are forced to acknowledge it 2. they're making such great friends with other groups!!! i especially love the interactions between onf/ace kids and chan/rayoon on the uni+ 😭😭😭😭 3. they've been recieving a lot of praises lately, esp in mixnine!!! can you imagine how many more new choices ACE will have in their next comeback?????? I'm really excited for that!

I don't get why A.C.E aren't more popular. They are super talented in several areas, they are good looking, their dancing is phenomenal and different, their songs are really good and has those catchy parts which would snatch the interest of "normal mainstream people" but still hold enough mystery and uniqueness to gain attention from "picky listeners".
I really hope people start noticing them. I am a BABY (B.A.P stan) and A.C.E remind me a lot of them. Hard working, really talented with great music but people just don't notice them for some reason. I will keep supporting them however. A.C.E FIGHTING! ♥

I'm excited cause I think they're really gaining a lot of International fans. Over at Steven Deng's "I'm Joining a K-pop Company" video while the comments (about what company you'd want to work at) were mostly about Big Hit & BTS, I mentioned A.C.E & Beat Interactive & suddenly there's Choices coming out of the woodwork & my comment got a few hundred likes. Also, they entered the youtube channel, K-Ville Entertainment, poll charts with "Callin" at #26 (out of 60), even beating out BTOB & JBJ whose new songs also just entered the charts there this week. Now with the boys working like crazy on survival shows, they'll gain more Korean fans, and then we're all set for world takeover!!! Yayayayayayay!

Can someone tell me what survival shows are about? I’m not new to kpop, I just never looked into those shows.
Bts Trash so basically there was a big one on Korean TV that took off and made 2 enourmous groups. Mostly shows like that were single agency shows producing a permanent group but this one had trainees from every agency join to make a super group that would only last 1-2 years. That show was so popular that other networks started making similar concepts of shows and 2 of those are on at the moment. Between the two shows ALL them members of ACE are on them. Produce 101 (the show I was talking about above) has revitalized the careers of a boy group and the point of the show "The Unit" is to give a platform to talented idols who fly under the radar because their group wasn't a success yet.

Omg... I've listened to this song so many times but never really checked the lyrics to see what they were saying, yet this song always touched my heart so much and I loved it so deeply... turns out they really write such touching and meaningful lyrics and I now know why this song means so much to me. Language barriers shouldn't ever stop people from listening to different music because you can still get so much from it without knowing what they're saying.
its so completely and utterly baffling to me how this group hasn't gotten more recognition. there's something about ace thats just so different and special; they each have a star quality to them, and they don't stick to one thing only. they switch up the rapping and the singing and they're all immensely talented dancers.
i love many groups but i have to be honest, not every group has members where each and every one stands out. no one is lacking in ace, they're all interesting and unique and i think thats what makes them so different. the potential IS there, in fact, i think they could become huge but i just don't get it. WHY aren't they bigger??

*Donghun:* To be honest, most people don't recognise well new bands like us even if we're on stage and we don't get the chance to perform that often. This is the most difficult part for us. We are better known as people who started busking and share their rehearsal videos on UA-cam rather than A.C.E, the band who write their own songs.
For now we may advance slowly but all our members believe that if we strive even more, people will gradually hear more about us and one day they will support and cheer for us. So we won't fret about it but will work even harder and have fun doing that. We're grateful for every chance we get to be on stage, for the support of broadcasting staff and we feel the warmth of every fan we get on social media.
