Which one is better, lexus rx 350 or this one? Comparing fully specced rx with equivalent glc with same price. Also is the rx significantly bigger? Deciding between the two
This one for sure. Lot more tech and interior lighting. Lexus doesn’t have anything innovative like Mercedes. But although, I think the RX compares with the GLE in class.
If you want a more luxury oriented driving experience, or will keep the vehicle more than 5 years, go with Lexus. Otherwise the Mercedes is more sophisticated and responsive.
In the uk the we have a grey wood finish instead of walnut & the centre console is a faux carbon fibre effect not piano black. Also no option for night package in the uk

Hello, I purchased a GLC 400e with the AMG Premium package on January 26, 2023. After two months, I experienced issues with the transmission controllers. In fact, the gearbox repeatedly failed at high speeds, especially above 160 kilometers per hour, causing significant stress and concern for my own safety and that of my family while driving on the highway. This serious risk of an accident has put me and my family in danger. After four attempts to diagnose the problem by Mercedes, starting from June 21, my vehicle has been at the Mercedes service center in Aschaffenburg, Germany. However, unfortunately, they do not have the necessary parts for the repair, and I am forced to wait until July 31. Undoubtedly, this lengthy delay has left me extremely dissatisfied and angry with Mercedes. Until today, despite sending multiple emails to Mercedes and filling out their form, they have not made any contact or taken any actions to address my concerns and seek my satisfaction.
This is definitely the first US review I’ve seen. I was hoping the us model would have the usb c in the back but nope. Such an L. I really like that for the kid when going to be in the car for a while
2 questions from a current GLC owner: 1. Do the memory seat buttons work with just one press finally or do you still have to annoyingly hold them down the entire time your seat adjusts? 2. Does the sunroof always open all the way when you open the shade, meaning every time you open the shade you have to then close the sunroof because it always opens it all the way up. Or will pressing the open button finally just only open the shade?
Not sure about the first question because we did not set up the memory seats. For the sunroof, the first press of the button just opens the shade and then another press opens up the sunroof itself. Thanks for watching!
Any Idea why they went with a touch screen for everything, even essential buttons like heating and air? If that screen goes out, you are screwed. Hepatic touch steering wheel? Try using that while turning or on ruff surface. I think it is the most frustrating! Cadillac, Lexus, Mazda and Toyota have learned that you cant put everything on a touchscreen and forget about hepatic anything while your driving. And no reviewers are talking about that. Must have a new interior design team. Everything else is really nice.
It clear to see that Mercedes has put their all into this redesign. They didn’t skimp out anywhere on this. The modo “the best or nothing” really shows because it has the same attributes as it’s larger siblings and i am fond of the route Mercedes is taking with their new and redesigned product’s.
