FINALLY VIOLET IS GIVING US SOMETHING
Jade is obviously best, but I really LOVE Poppy, including her second outfit. It's like 2000s mod revival, space chic. Love it.
I think her 2nd outfit would suit Michelle more
Violet's dress looks like a flapper. Would be a good dress to use if you want to make a Flapper RH doll. It looks like MGA had extra Skylar Winter Break dolls and just decided to use them for this line.
I knew they wouldn't do Jade's hair right, they did Glitch similarly dirty.
Aside from Sunny, all of these dolls should have had their 3rd outfits from the show as their 2nd outfit in these packages. Poor Amaya. I actually like her 3rd outfit, the black tule dress with the black leather jacket and the rainbow sleeves. Instead, they recycled her 1st outfit. That aside, I love this line and I can't wait to collect them. (Would be cool if they had given us Bella as a bonus, since we did see Skylar's sketch design for her Final Runway dress design)
For jades green part of her dress that is supposed to “light up” I noticed that on her box there’s an extra sticker on the botton part of her box and the other don’t have. I tried to see what is says and to hard to say but it looks like it says. “Glows in the dark!” So I’m pretty sure it glows in the dark but I’m not 100% sure
Also rainbow high has reposted all its older episodes with the runway storyline, I imagine to market the dolls?

they look so good! the only thing i think would make them a tad bit better is if the runway looks actually transformed instead of the second outfit
I really like most of them. I cant wait to see clearer images (especially of sunny) only one that I don't like as much is poppy because that runway dress was...a choice. I like her base doll and second outfit tho.
Also I think Kim would look so good in Skylers runway dress. The color fits her more than Skyler Skylers denim should have been more blue.
I hate jade’s second outfit so much. She’s a gorgeous doll but jade’s outfits are just … iffy. I know her base was billy inspired but it doesn’t make her newer doll look better
It’s definitely boring I agree 😭 I remember thinking the leather jacket ruby comes with was hers and getting so excited but now I’m disappointed
Augh jade and poppy are just so pretty but I know they're gonna be like 50 dollars each

Definitely love these dolls! Jade and Sunny are must haves for me, and they are my two favorite characters from the show as well! I don’t have any of the first wave dolls, as I wasn’t on the Rainbow High train when they first came out. So these are definitely an opportunity to get the main girls!
I also really like Amaya, tho you are right about her hair. If I get her, I’m definitely going to restyle her hair. Same with Sunny tbh, I’m keeping the pigtails, but I kinda wanna try a Sailor Moon type hairstyle for her 😆 can’t wait to try it out!
I might get Violet and if I do, I might honestly put the fur jacket with her dress. I feel like her dress is very underwhelming compared to the others. And I think the fur jacket would give her more.
On the fence about Ruby, Poppy, and Skylar. Ruby I think I need to see in person. And you’re right about Poppy’s dress having too much of the black on her dress. The black part is too much and takes over the orange of the butterfly which is very disappointing because she is gorgeous! She would definitely be one of my favorites if it weren’t for that. And Skylar also looks underwhelming to me. But unlike Violet, she doesn’t come with anything that I could add to her. I wish they could have given her a headpiece or some jewelry, like you said. That would have really helped.
Overall, I’m very positive about this line, and might get all of them! And sorry for the long ass comment 😂 but if you made it then thanks for taking the time to read! Remember that you are beautiful, stay positive, smile more, and have a great day! ❤
My order so far is
1. Poppy (Love that butterfly dress though it does look a bit high up in the box. Do agree her 2nd outfit looks more like it was made for Michelle)
2. Skylar (I love Skylar, Her hair is gorgeous and I love the denim dress. Don't care much for the 2nd dress)
3. Amaya (Not an Amaya fan but this one is stunning! I love the dress and don't mind her 2nd dress being similar to her original as I don't own her original)
4. Sunny (I love Sunny! She's my fave s1 girl and always looks adorable. I just wish her umbrella dress wasn't upside down. I also personally love that we got her 3rd outfit as her 2nd!)
5. Jade (Jade is stunning. I LOVE the black lip on her but I'm really not a fan of the bulky plastic lightning and where did her hair chains go? Glitch never got them either!)
6. Ruby (Ruby a character I like but never scores too high in the line. She's gorgoues, I love her make-up and I definitely love the leather jacket but I just prefer the others)
7. Violet (Still think this is the prettiest Violet but she just seems lackluster in comparison to everyone else. Do love the fur jacket though!)
Poppy's second outfit looks like Stella's fairy outfit from winx club!
I’d seen the entire collection at a Walmart today but my phone was dead so I couldn’t get pictures and I didn’t get one of them instead getting two of the rainbow divas

Think about it, Poppy's second outfit on Michelle... that outfit was made for her, not Poppy lol I think Ruby's outfit looks very high fashion grunge and I'm here for it! I don't know what I'm going to do when this line drops, I hate having doubles of rh/sh characters but for some of these I'm going to have break that rule.
Same here. I usually only get one version of a character's doll that I love the most, and I already have Cheerleader Sunny, but I may have to break my rule for this too. Her runway look is just too precious

I want Poppy againnnnnnnn. I really wish I could have liked Skylar's, but I am so tired of denim on top of more denim. Might get Amaya too. Can we have a new blue doll that isn't just denim?
I want to see them in person before I commit fully, but I'm pretty sure Jade and Poppy are on my "must" list. Skyler, Amaya, Sunny, and Ruby are on my "maybe" list as of now, and Violet... I want to like her more. I think seeing her in person will determine whether or not I pick her up. Do we know the price in USD? That's another factor, now that MH is back and competing for my dollars.

Maybe Sunny will be featured more than other characters in this next season, so that's why she has an existing outfit? Who knows!
One thing which I always thought would be cool would be individual heights and body sizes for every character - we aren't all symmetrical, so this would be pretty nice! However, it's not something that many doll lines are quite into, just yet. Hopefully, Rainbow/Shadow High's new lines could be the first!

Honestly I’m really disappointed with this dolls outside of poppy skyler and jade I don’t really like them which sucks cuz I was excited for them
Skyler and Violet are def my favorites but none of these dolls can be 10/10 because they don't come with second shoes and the shoes they are wearing (except for Jade's) is way too boring and plain
I just don’t like the chicken feathers on violets dress, why not ostrich? Or dodo would be sickening

Amaya is stunning 😍 ✨️ she's giving greek goddess in an art museum she's my favorite. Violet and Jade look good I might pick them up but I'll have to see them in person to see if I really click with them, Sunny is cute, but I like her twin pack doll more and my least fave is Ruby as well
