  • October Garden Update | 2023
This October garden tour we talk about some of the updates we are going to be planning for our spring garden ideas for 2024. While doing this we are showing what we have left in the garden for our fall vegetable garden. Some of these are some seeds and transplants you can still do for the month of October and heading into November.

Thanks for the fun tour of your garden. You just keep improving that garden every year, don't you?
So you are the pickle raider.
You are so very smart to save your asparagus seeds. My experience is that from seeds they are more hardy and more adapted to the local climate.

Each year from the time we started gardening, we have expanded. Need to collect more seeds next year. Dont want to have it happened what it did the other year with the lack of seeds

Seeds are a great way to prepare for a future. The Bible says that a wise man considers his ways. Good job considering your ways. @@TheNakidGardeners

I really enjoyed the garden tour ! I found your channel from Back to Our Roots new video . I bought my wife 2 Meyer lemons and 2 lime trees for Mothers day and when we brought the lemon trees in for the winter they lost all the leaves and the limes our doing awesome putting on new growth and blooming . Do you think the lemons will come back or are they dead ? I got them under grow lights in the house. The lemons even during the Summer never seemed to do as well as limes . I always said i'm the worst gardener growing anything that grows more than a few months lol . Thanks for sharing and have a great day !

A lot of questions need to be answered before i can really say.
      Where do you live?
Do you have them in containers/pots?
Did you have them inside before the frost?
I would do a scratch test to see if there is some green inside the bark. Most trees are going into their dormancy phase and will come back once the weather permits.

Thanks for the updates, Brother Sid. We are going to be re-mulching over the cooler months to. Asparagus gone wild here too! LOL The fruit trees are doing pretty good. We fertilize our fruit trees early Spring and early Fall but add comfrey throughout the year. Stay blessed my friends

We are about to hit an early frost. I'm going to have to put the fruit trees in the garage until spring
