Think you misread Liberated Livestock or forgot what Anikthea does. Anikthea doesn’t synergise with Auras, only non-aura enchantments, so Liberated Livestock would be bad for her because it’s not even an enchantment creature
I'm so excited. This deck is everything I loved about magic when I first started playing. I bought the GW plane chase deck and I remember buying Canopy Covers to protect my Aura Gnarlids from my friends who prefers the gross Grixis colors 😂 I love everything about this set and this deck I'VE GOT ALL YOUR MISSING PASSION. I haven't bought MTG since Capenna and this is so nostalgic for me.
Look. I agree Castle Ardenvale has a trash rate. Yes. But it saved my life so many times against control planeswalker or just lazy attackers that don’t look the board state. It’s a surprise 1/1 when you don’t have anything else.
I'm conflicted. I want this but for parts. I like the role mechanic but I have the Selesnya beginner precon I picked up for almost nothing and role tokens would be great to add to it...but every year WotC just churns out more Selesnya enchantment token stuff while adding very little to differentiate them.
The Commander Masters enchantress deck was just a poor choice at that time. Not only is it immediately before another enchantress deck, but it also comes almost immediately after two other Abzan precons with more unique themes. At least the other three themes felt like Big Deals that you wouldn't typically see precon themes for, but how many enchantress commander precons have they made? I like the new role cards, I think they do an excellent job of making auras matters cards better, but I don't need the reprints and some of the new cards are mediocre or off-theme so I'll definitely just grab singles here. And I guess you don't want to go too hard on roles since you can only have one per creature, but I'm realising the main set only has one mono green card that makes a role? And the better role cards are in... Dimir??
I have the following precons sealed in a glass display cabinet: Call the Spirits (2015) Adaptive Enchantment (2018) Aura of Courage (AFR) Enduring Enchantment (Masters) I have already pre-ordered Virtue and Valor 😊 I also have a beefed up Shrine deck and a Sigarda Auras deck. Can you guess my favorite playstyle?
I think was a big miss that no new creature had ward. For example the knight could have ward 1 since you investing aura to make it big. Or more bestow.
One "combo" with Unfinished Business is the Reconfigure creatures from Kamigawa because it does not specify "non-creature equipment". I can't think of any terribly broken options, but you can do shenanigans like bringing back a Shroud/Hexproof creature with Cloudsteel Kirin. Or bring back Etherium Sculptor and The Reality Chip to be able to immediately draw your deck with Sensei's Divining Top.
Just crafted a deck with Gylwain as Commander and it's absolute king. I hate aura and enchantress, and Gyl Is a totally new twist on the theme. I love It.
I kinda wish this was an Orzhov deck or something instead - I feel like a big issue with Enchantress/Aura decks is that they always gather in the same colours, too. The Abzan deck from before was nice, but it'd be cool to see something that breaks from the Selesnya core altogether, and Eldraine really seemed like the set for it.
I actually made a orzhov enchantment deck with Killian, ink duelist. His ability to reduce the cost of spells that target creatures works really well with auras
I have brewed (and played) Eritte, the Charmed Apple from this set. She is a fantastic Enchantress Commander (and I speak with some authority as I currently have 14 Enchantress/Enchantment matters decks ranging from 5c to mono-black) Its Orzhov. Its VERY aura based. Seems perfect for you.
knickknack Ouphe is insane, I'm gonna put it in my Thrun voltron deck for sure. cast him for 5 or 6 X and get every aura on my commander, that's great. they could and should have added Farewell instead of austere command in this deck, that boardwipe needs a reprint.

Too be fair, he is known for budget commander in every intro, and that precon is $80 (not so budget). So I can see him missing that point.
Yeah but Anikthea is about filling your graveyard and saccing stuff so you have the pieces for it and are likely running SOME auras.

For me this whole set is just boring I had hight hopes it would be a good set but it's just bad
