Such a great idea to let the garland wrap around the tree and down over the deer! That is some good advice to pick up pieces when you see them that you like. I do that and they come in really good for future projects!

I am going to painting my living room blue and I was thinking of a blue white theme with deer and snowflakes because I already have a lot of deer, snowflakes and antler ornaments and picks. Do you think I should add some beige or burlap,,? Oh and I have a lot of white magnolias.. I want to create a wintery woodsy feel.
