- Following on from my criticism of the speculation about the claim that Bill Gates was the biblically prophesied 'Antichrist', I have had many people ask me about the identity of the real Antichrist. Having spent years of study in this field, I have now comprised a biblical checklist for how to identify the beast of Revelation 13 and the Antichrist.
The Anti-Christ was positively identified in 1986 using his Biblical name ,the number of 600 , and 3 score , and 6. Not 666 …. And separately by his visual identification…of the Beast with the Body of a Leopard, feet of a bear , mouth of a lion , and the little horn …the name Prince Charles of Wales called the Unicorn with the human eye in his heraldic achievement since childhood…..the rest is a perfect description of the other Animals in his “Coat of Arms” …he is perfectly described in the Bible and the statue’s the Bible mentions being made in the beast’s honor…Charles already has them ! ….I saw them. This is all described along with four other Biblical Prophecies Charles has Fulfilled in the books “Anti-Christ and a cup of Tea” by Tim Cohen the evidence was comprehensive, well documented, and I couldn’t find any fault ….it’s what made me become a believer….this was 86’ look now and you’ll find Charles has also “Fooled the world” did he fool you too ? ….just look as all the worlds governments are killing their own citizens to “Save the environment” exactly as Charles tells them to in his WEF speeches ….including what his father said “ Earth is overpopulated she can only sustain a population of 500 Million, we must make that happen” Charles re-iterated this speech many times …it’s real meaning if you can handle simple math “ you 7.5 Billion poor people must die ….and we the WEF will help you …just look as doctors in Canada between two doctors texting each other brag about killing 700 people between them …. Yes we are in the end times …and Charles is the real Biblical Anti-Christ ….

The Bible not only perfectly describes the day he became Prince it also described his personal seal or Heraldic Achievements.. the Bible also says he will rule for seven years and then Yahusha comes back to cast him into the pit for all time .. he sits the throne in may which means the Rapture is literally anytime between now and then !

If Nero is the beast, high priest is the false prophet, then what about the other prophecies regarding them? Not being able to buy and sell until they get the mark? Stopping the sacrifice, but before that making a covenant? Having a fatal wound? Authority for 42 months? High priest performing great signs and wonders? Second beast giving life to the image of the first beast? Won't they have to fulfill all these prophecies as well?
Index Clone, thank you for your questions. We, the modern readers of The Book of Revelation have been so conditioned to think that the book was written TO us that we overlook its immediate context beginning with understanding that it was written to 7 churches in Asia Minor (modern Turkiye) in AD 65. Secondly, we need to understand the literature used in the Book of Revelation. For example, 80% of its language is grounded in the Old Testament - especially the Prophets namely Daniel and Zechariah. With some overlap of course, 40% is grounded in the language of the Pentateuch particularly the language associated with the tabernacle and its furnishings. Thus, Daniel has already defined for the reader what the apocalyptic term 'beast' means - a ruler who represents an empire, people, or kingdom. In this sense, 'beast' is a metonym for what is represented. This is why Daniel describes both the ruler and empire as 'a beast'. Hence, most biblical scholars recognise that the beast prophesied in Daniel 7:7 was referring to the rise of the Roman Empire who its Caesars would represent and thus metonymically also be referred to as a 'beast'.
(Dan. 7:3) And four great beasts came up out of the sea, different from one another.
(Dan. 7:5) And behold, another beast, a second one, like a bear. It was raised up on one side. It had three ribs in its mouth between its teeth; and it was told, ‘Arise, devour much flesh.’
(Dan. 7:6) After this I looked, and behold, another, like a leopard, with four wings of a bird on its back. And the beast had four heads, and dominion was given to it.
(Dan. 7:7) After this I saw in the night visions, and behold, a fourth beast, terrifying and dreadful and exceedingly strong. It had great iron teeth; it devoured and broke in pieces and stamped what was left with its feet. It was different from all the beasts that were before it, and it had ten horns.
In Revelation 13, there are two beasts referred to. The first is 'the beast from across the sea' which was Hebraism meaning that this ruler was not from "the Land" (Israel). The second beast referred to is 'of the earth' which is the Greek words 'tēs ge' (τῆς γῆς) which means "the Land". Therefore, note how you need to adjust your questions: The first ruler was the ruling emperor representing the ruling empire of AD 65 - Caesar Nero. But it is the SECOND beast who calls all people to worship the FIRST beast - which is exactly what happened at the sentencing of the Lord Jesus - (John 19:15) They cried out, “Away with him, away with him, crucify him!” Pilate said to them, “Shall I crucify your King?” The chief priests answered, “We have no king but Caesar.”
And it the SECOND beast who causes people to receive 'a mark' of allegiance to the FIRST beast on their right hand or between the frontlet of their eyes ("on their forehead" Rev. 13:16-17). This is what the phylacteries were which were also condemned by Christ in Matthew 23:5, "They do all their deeds to be seen by others. For they make their phylacteries broad and their fringes long." Phylacteries were leather pouches tied around the right wrist or around the forehead that had to be worn into the Temple precinct so that you buy or sell your sacrifices for the Temple ceremonies.
"The mortal wound was healed" (Rev. 13:12) prophetically pointed to the events that were to happen when Caesar Nero was invited to execute himself in AD 68. In AD 69 it looked like the Roman Empire might well collapse ("die") and is referred to by historians as "The Year of the Four Caesars" which should give you an indication of the strife that nearly ended the Empire. But it did recover when General Vespasian, assisted by son Titus, took control of the Empire. It was Caesar Vespasian and his Co-Caesar son Titus who destroyed Jerusalem and its Temple in AD 70.

@@DrAndrewC I was reading through your answers here and to be honest, there are some things that I would agree with, for example, the language that is taken from the Old Testament. But at the same time many of your answers don't adequately address what Revelation is actually saying. For example, you're talking about the idea that the Jewish leadership said that they have no king but Caesar. It's obvious from the New Testament Scriptures that this was said only in order to get Jesus crucified at the moment, against the wishes of Pilate. The book of Revelation on the other hand, speaks of these events in the future tense. As you know there is a big debate as to when this book was penned. But even if the 65 AD date was correct, this was decades after the crucifixion event. Yet you're trying to say that the second beast was trying to get people to worship the first beast at that time. But in the 60s AD there was a rebellion brewing in Judea against the Roman rule. So it's exactly the opposite of what you're saying.

I understand you have a book to sell, but I have to be very careful as a believer to examine the Scripture thoroughly to follow them. We all have that responsibility, especially those professing to be teachers among us. Kindly, I would recommend taking a step back and looking closely at what you are teaching in light of the Scriptures. Because it sure appears, by the look of it, that some tough times are ahead in the very near future for this world and its inhabitants.

That is an utterly false and disgusting claim! Sound hermeneutics - especially regarding the interpretation of prophetic Scriptures - must begin by examining the past to see if a prophecy has been fulfilled. It is utterly Christian to consider that Isaiah 7:14 has been fulfilled in the virgin birth of Christ because we have examined the past and rightly determined that this was fulfilled in Jesus of Nazareth and the virgin Mary. Your assertion is not an argument and does not respond to the historic facts which confirm Bible prophecy.

Please refer to my articles at www.andrewcorbett.net and to my books on this topic (available from Amazon). When we exegete the Book of Revelation we have to start with (i) the date and therefore the occasion; then (ii) the audience; and then (iii) a determination of the genre of the literature. By doing this we note that within the first 19 chapters there is a consistent imminent time-frame (eg., "now", "at hand", "this hour"), then in Revelation 20 the time-frame changes dramatically where it mentions "a thousand years" (vs.2), then again through to verse 6. Since the genre of Revelation is "apocalyptic" which involves the use of 'signs and symbols' to communicate a prophetic message, we have to be very cautious before we interpret anything in the Book of Revelation in a wooden literal fashion. With this in mind it it is worth considering that 40% of the Book of Revelation is grounded in the language of Pentateuch, and that a further 30% of its language is grounded in the rest of the Old Testament. Therefore, it is worth considering how the Old Testament uses the expression "a thousand" to mean 'not meant to be counted'. Since Christ will rule will His church (Rev. 20:4) for "a thousand years" the question is: Is Christ Lord now? and Will there ever be a time when Christ will not be ruling?

When He came to bring to an end the Old Covenant that He had made "obsolete" at the cross (Heb. 8:13) by fulfilling the point of His prophetic parable in Matthew 21:33-46, and when He said in Matthew 24:34 the time-frame when it would happen.
where does the word rome show up in Daniel ? Even if your correct Daniel never says its rome
The checklist is found in 1 John 2 and also in 1 John 4.
If the events in Revelation happened already, we would see Jesus right now and New Jerusalem from all ends of the earth. Doesn't take a biblical scholar to see that... You're now on the "Do not Recommend" list.
Unless of course we exegete the text of Revelation and recognise that there was a consistent imminence in the first 19 chapters and then a dramatic change in timeframe relevance from from chapter 20. We cannot read it by assuming that everything in it is about “our” future without realising rather that most of it was being about the future of original audience of AD 65.

The Bible is consistent. Even in Daniel 8 it says that its an endtime revelation. All of it is connected.
Even then, you can literally see a global government being formed before our very eyes. Its starting with the UN and Workd Economic Forum. Pay attention to the things Davos is do doing. The antichrist has not come yet but he will be here soon.
@@Cmdr_DarkNite Be careful brother about ignoring the historical context in which these prophecies were given and were decreed to be fulfilled; and take care in introducing concepts that are not in the text itself - such as, "antichrist" - when, it is only used in the Epistles of John, NOT in the Book of Revelation. You might benefit from doing a little bit research about Cerinthus the Gnostic and his attempted influence in and around the churches near Ephesus (that is, the seven churches of Asia Minor listed in Revelation 1-3) around AD65, and what he was teaching. Although John confronts his false teaching in his Epistles, it would be wrong to conflate him with another character mentioned in Revelation as 'the beast from across the sea'.

I will forgive your rudeness about my need to become familiar with the Bible, and simply point you to the my daily Bible readings with commentary through the entire Bible ua-cam.com/video/oGmSwtotNpM/v-deo.html&pp=gAQBiAQB -and, then point out that the Bible uses "perspective language" rather than "21st century Western language". For example, in the Old Testament (which is the language that informs the literature of The Book of Revelation), the use of the term of "earth" is clearly stated from the perspective of the writer -
1Sam. 4:5 ¶ As soon as the ark of the covenant of the LORD came into the camp, all Israel gave a mighty shout, so that the earth resounded.
1Sam. 14:15 And there was a panic in the camp, in the field, and among all the people. The garrison and even the raiders trembled, the earth quaked, and it became a very great panic.
1Kings 10:24 And the whole earth sought the presence of Solomon to hear his wisdom, which God had put into his mind.
In Revelation 8, it is the same Old Testament language usage that informs Revelation's use of words. The focus loci is the land of Israel - which you can see from the above OT references was frequently referred to as the "whole earth". During the siege of Jerusalem and the surrounding Roman military actions around Judea, it is estimated that over 2million Jews died over the seven years it lasted, until Emperor Vespasian's son, Titus, finally conquered the wall city of Jerusalem and destroyed the temple, thus fulfilling Christ's prophecies in Matthew 24.
The teaching being offered here depends on WHEN John wrote Revelation.

@@dustyschwartz1576 Dusty, one of the principles of biblical hermeneutics is to begin by answering the questions: (i) What was the occasion for this biblical work? Supplementary to this then is, (ii) When was this written? (This has a direct bearing particularly on how we understand prophetic passages and apocalyptic literature.) (iii) Who was the audience? (None of the Biblical literature was written "to" us. Rather, while its original audience shapes the way we must interpret it, we know that all of Scripture has been divinely inspired "for" us.) (iv) How then did that original, and immediately subsequent, audience understand what was written to them?
By answering these questions we can begin to avoid the modern problem of eisegesis (reading into the text of Scripture, rather than exegeting - drawing out from - Scripture.
* For your consideration: The term "antichrist" does not appear in the Gospels, Paul's epistles, Peter's Epistles. Hebrews, James or Jude, or the Book of Revelation. It is a dangerous eisegetical conflation to other New Testament terms with this very particular Johanine term that only occurs in his epistles and had immediately cultural relevance to the gnostic heresy being peddled in Ephesus at the time John wrote his epistles to them.
* The term "second coming of Christ" does not occur in the Gospels. This is particularly important to note regarding the Olivet Discourse of Matthew 24 and Luke 21 where many Bible teachers eisegetically assume it into the text.
* The Greek word "parousia" translated into English as "appear" or "come" does not mean "return" but more likely means "come in judgment" which is demanded by the context of it in the Olivet Discourse.
* The Greek word translated "world" in Matthew 24:14 , is not "cosmos" (entire world) but "oichoumene" (the Mediterranean/Roman world, also used in Lk. 2:1 - "In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world (Gr. oichoumene) should be registered."
Dusty, each of these points that I have listed are non-controversial and considered mainstream classic theology. By considering these issues it should become apparent to those who know and love Jesus and His Word, that much of the speculative nonsense that has been promoted by so-called Bible-prophecy teachers is a false reading and interpretation of Scripture. I think the beast across the sea what the speaker referring to in the Revelation is none other the nation that is between Asia and Europe.
That nation lies between the two seas.
When its going to invade any nations in Europe or Asia, it forces have to cross the sea.

But the temple is going to be rebuilt. They already have plans to do that.
The third temple has been tried to be rebuilt about half a dozen times. Check out the rebuilding of the third temple at the time of Roman Emperor Julian the Apostate in the 4th century and the 7th century when the Jews under the Sassanid Empire tried. I have my doubts.
@juanisaac5172 I am aware of all that. Isreal still has been working on building this temple again. They even have some sections already built that will be lowered in place when the ground has been made ready. There was some issues on where they were going to put it, since they originally thought it was supposed to go where the Dome of the Rock currently is. However they recently unearthed the location of the original temple, so when excavation is complete, they will put it there. They have the red header without blemish, and they found the old formula for the oil. So the temple will be built. It's simply a matter of time.

Whether prophets likr Tim Cohen or Monty Judah is within the context of the scriptures. I recalled reading the passages from the Books of Moses. God reveals his secrets to the Jews, his chosen people, only. The scriptures written , " God is the revealer of hidden secret but the revealation of secrets reserved to my people, Jews, for ever." In other words, the gift of revealing secrets were given to God's chosen people as a previleged task or vocation for ever. It is no wander people often said, true Prophets came from the Jews." I think Cohen is the Levi priestly tribe and Monty Judah is a Messianic Jews. Both of these men have added credentials as the " true prophet of Jews." So their prophetic words have significant weight to their interpretations. I hope my contribution to this post help the readers because English is not my first language and I am a Gentile.
Most scholars identify Antiochus Epiphanies as an Antichrist figure, who was and is to come. He persecuted the Jews, desecrated the temple with an image of Zeus and sacrificed a pig on the altar committing the abomination of desolation.
Yes he definitely did. However, Matthew 24 speaks of another that will do the same. Except it will be a tribulation that the world has never seen and will never see again. Matthew 24 quotes the passage from Daniel regarding the abomination of desolation.

You are on to something here. Antiochus was a Seleucid King. The Seleucids were Asian Greeks who went to Asia with Alexander the Great. I see the AC as someone from the Eastern Roman Empire. The Romans who destroyed the Second Temple in 70 AD recruited soldiers from whence they were stationed. The commanders were from Italy like Vaspasian but the soldiers were Syrians, Arabians, Hittites et. al.

The third temple of God is all us believers. We are where The Lord dwells. There will not ever be a brick and mortar temple again. That would undo the work of Christ on the cross and his resurrection.

Anyone telling you who the antichrist is, is sadly mistaken. The bible says .. let me say it again... The bible says we will not know who he is till he stands in the temple mount. He totally omits the fact that the 4th beast is never conquered like the previous 3 (see Daniel 2:41, 7:8). Rome was never conquered but disintegrated into 10 divisions. That would be the feet that were made of clay and iron that couldn't join together even though it was tried through marriage, conquest, etc.
Daniel 7:24 shows that the 10 horns are 10 kings (10 divisions of Rome) "and another would rise after them and would be more diverse from the first and would subdue 3 kings!" Here's a history lesson: in 493 the Heruli were destroyed, in 534 the Vandals were vanquished, and in 538. All 3 kingdoms were supporters of Arianism which was a formidable rival of Catholicism.
Daniel 7:25 "And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time!". Revelations 13:5-7 parallels this but calls the timeframe 42 months. Revelations 11:3 call it a thousand, threescore and sixty days. If you read Numbers 14:34 and Ezekiel 4:6 it gives you the timeline of a day for a year in prophecy.

The apostle Paul makes reference to the man of lawlessness who takes his seat in the Temple of God which could only be a reference to the High Priest, which I believe is the first of the two beasts depicted in Revelation 13.
