We are campground host at Buckskin Mountain State Park just south of Lake Havasu in the winter. We love Sara park trails. We both double check for slide obstacles before we push the button.

I use the garmin 870. It works great when pulling my 43 ft big horn 5th wheel. I use the garmin when doing my rv transport and car hauling business. Big screen as well as a tablet. Right now I think it's on sale through techno rv. Your rig should be 13'6" tall
I bought an RV GPS and I returned it . I set it up according to my truck and trailer like the instructions said and just drove around my town just in my my .. thank God I didn’t have my trailer . That GPS routed me to go down roads that I never would’ve been able to get out of or turn around . If I didn’t know the area that GPS would have put me in some bad situations . I think maybe try the apps first before you spend a lot of money on the GPS that might get you in trouble . Best of luck with whatever you decide. 👍🏻

Your doing fine. Everything is fixable so far. I've broken 2 drawers on my 5th wheel. I now check everything inside b4 moving my slides in or out. Your doing great so keep having a great time in your 5th wheel.
Just a tip, use an RV GPS from Garmin. If you rely on an app you might find yourself in real trouble if you don't have cell signal. Garmin provides regular updates for free and I found it to be much more reliable than any app I tried.
Easy way measure then keep a note on your height then if you want a trucker gps will work too you can enter your height in and it will take you a route to avoid those low bridges
Hi like your videos, the good The bad and the ugly.real life , where did you camp at? We stayed at lone tree, easy to get into and out without hitting something not to far from town great fiews and if you have four by lots of places to go.also you can see crab craw roch and I think there is hiking trails to ,I didn't do that bad knees, although I can hike some just not to long and far.my daughter and son in law are with me when I hike they take care of me.also cragy wash but not big rig friendly enough for me except for the first few sites and there almost always full. First come first serve.w Got camper done so I'm heading out to Flagstaff az walnut canyon and then to grand canyon south rim meeting daughter in flagstaff.good coffee shop and pizza spot in Flagstaff, Macy's coffee and I can't remember the pizza spot but it's just down the street from Macy's. Have safe travels and have fun 🏜️🏕️
You guys sooo need to make a pre trip checklist and get walkie-talkie for backup communications
Yes we do. We usually have walkies and we aren't used to having to pack as its usually all with us.
When they do a road repair and put a nice 2 inch bed of new pavement down and do not update the 10 year old sign is always fun.
That is always my worry.

Yeah that looks more like dirt then a rock sucks it done damage but all the damage from this one trip is fixable pretty easy

RV Life app works great. Been using it for 2 years and is awesome. Also you must measure yourself.

Just an FYI but clearance for a semi is 13' 6" so you should fit. Just look on line for the brosure for your fifth wheel.
The brochure states 13 3 which is what we looked up. Just got nervous about that dip. :)

I know this sounds dumb but if you paint lines all the way down the driveway you won't have to worry about hitting anything on the house.
Trip wizard is a great app. I’m a huge fan and live in Phoenix (until June 1 when I move to Wisconsin). Keep up the great content.
We've done that Wickenburg bridge several times in our 5th Wheel, but we're only 12'9". It's scary!!
