As someone who as flat feet, I think the perfect shoe function + style wise is the Yeezy 500 high tops! They’re adiprene which takes the stress away from your heels. They’re also wide for our flat feet, and the high tops help with overpronation :)
Great video, thank you! I have a wide toe box but very narrow ankles/heels. It makes finding boots and sneakers very difficult as the back of my foot is always either sliding out of the shoes, or too tight in the toe box 😭🙃😭
Thank you so much I have always wanted Vans and I always worried it's too narrow for my foot but after this video I bought Vans old skool and it looks so good! Thanks you!
I'm about to pull the trigger on wide fit chucks. Unfortunately I can't find them anywhere in stores so I'll have to buy online without trying on. Wish me luck.
@@MindfulProgramming I have to say they're actually probably the best fitting casual shoes I've had in a very very long time. With almost every pair of shoes I own there's so much pressure against my little toes that they end up poking holes through but with these shoes I don't feel any pressure there. If it's your first time buying chucks just make sure you follow the advice on the site and buy 1 size below what you usually wear. I was sceptical but I bought 44.5 (usually wear 45.5) and they fit perfectly. Only had them a few weeks but they're holding up well so far.
I have the issue of fluctuating foot size AND one foor is 9mm longer than the other so I have gone for a bigger size with insoles so if they swell I can take the insole out and slackened off the laces which really helps.
Weird, I've worn my Vans Old skools only a few times, because they hurt and I'm only wearing AF1s these days, because they're so comfy. I have wide feet too
@@JaniceEadie Sorry, I just tried my Vans again and realized they're simply too small.. I used to do that a lot when I was younger. But that's good news for me! I'll give Vans another try.
I love converse i saw they got out on internet they site and zalando some wide feet shoes there’s not much models i wanted to ask if they good fitting ?
I’m measured to be like 4 5E or 6E But I’ve had to wear a new balance 5.5 4E (still isn’t wide enough) but closest to fit. It Causes pain, AND too long (dangerously long). I am currently in a walking boot for tendonitis, and I am going through physical therapy. I for sure need custom sneakers, as no “major” brand(Nike, Adidas, Asics, Reebok,…) of shoes will pay any attention to me, even under the reason that I am being unhealthy to my body by wearing completely incorrectly sized shoes, as they are the only remotely close size for my shoes. I was born with a genetic condition that affects my bone growth. I did find the Hersey shoe company (in Massachusetts, USA) is a running shoe maker. But that is only the beginning of solving the issue, as I play tennis (like religiously and as my only regular physical activity), and all the shows I’ve ever found that can remotely fit have been discontinued by the manufacturer (even the ones we bought in 2019 pre-pandemic manufactured under New Balance). I hope and pray, 🤞🏻🙏🏻 we can find shoes one day soon.
Are all of these sneakers in a size W or do they run wide so you’re able to purchase the standard M width? I deal with bunionettes on both feet from trying to squeeze my feet into a smaller size sneaker when i was a kid. 😑 I’ve had to make sure the width was W when shopping for women shoes. I wonder if I wouldn’t have to worry about that with male sneakers..
So most of these I showed are regular width shoes that I find run a bit wide...I am going to film a part 2 of this video soon with all actually wide width shoes. I recently got back into wearing New Balance ...I didn’t realize that most of their shoes you can actually get wide or extra wide options. And any of the barefoot shoes I ever show are by far the most comfy but I know they are limited in terms of style and don’t go with all outfits but they’re definitely my fave comfort wise.
@@JaniceEadie the new balance pair I have were the only ones I could get on my feet when I ate carbs on a holiday. Carbs ALWAYS make my feet swell big time
They kind of look like Vans...it’s hard to say because I would never think Vans would be comfy for my feet but they are-that’s one I would definitely try on in person first or make sure you can return just in case
Hey Janice, following your tongue posture video... Does the back third of the tongue go on the soft palate? In saying that, in your video you placed emphasis on the front 2 thirds of the tongue one the roof of the mouth. Do we need to care about the back?
Whatever feels natural, the most important is that your tongue doesn’t touch the teeth and lips together, teeth slightly apart (or touching very lightly). I personally find it hard to get the back part of the tongue up it’s not comfortable to me but you can always try if it’s comfortable for you to do so.
I love converse but omfg they're made for ppl with feet the size of a banana & if you have wide feet they will NOT fit if they do they'll crush your toes. Vans hurt the hoof & just bottom of the feet you cannot walk long distances with them. The best you can go for is bendable sports shoes with a very soft & light stretchy fabric they feel like walking on clouds highly recommend
Nice shoes, maybe a future video you can just prop them feet up without shoes and socks and just wiggle them around and talk about how much you like them massaged? LOL ❤️
I will look them up for sure never heard of them...actually I have found a few more brands I like since I made that video so in the future I will update it :)
Since this video I have got the New Balance 574 in the wide version and they are super comfy! (True to size, I will link them as well)
Have you tried the wide or extra wide widths of Keds Champions???
No I haven’t
@@JaniceEadie 😭 I want a pair so bad but I can't find the all black that I'm looking for and I'm not even sure if they'll fit right 😂
I’m so glad u mentioned that’ most ppl don’t know but vans are actually wide and roomy. Rlly mostly the old skools, Kudos for showing that.
this is super helpful for my family as most of the women in my family have wide feet
Thanks for watching I appreciate it:)

Thank you:) yes I did used to hear that lol
I was thinking the same thing, lol!
apparently Converse and Vans offer wide width options now, for a select few models. I might try them out, but I'm not super hopeful lol

I’m surprised you’ve suggested vans I find them very narrow it’s a shame coz they look good
Jordan True Flights are Wide foot friendly just like the vans
I have a bunion on my right foot plus wide flat feet. Gosh comfy shoes

With barefoot shoes do u go true to size or size up for socks?
