Thanks buddy. You're right in saying it rides a bit rough on those MV4 19"s. I usually don't like silver cars but after seeing yours I knew I had to take the guy up on his offer. Wish I had a 6cylinder though!
Looks good mate! That is a bargain. The Lexus is still running sweet and I'm glad the Merc served you a purpose for a short while, if not only to get you this! Looking forward to more content with it. The LED upgrades are a must!
Used it for a bit then sold it on, living in london with ULEZ looming this is not the ideal car anymore! The guy who bought it off me crashed it and sold it soon after I think sadly
Is the e92 320d better than a 325i? Heard some horrible stories with the 320d on some BMW owner’s forums. Looking to buy an e92 but don’t know which one to go for. Between the 320d and the 325i
The 320d often suffers with timing chain issues so look at the service records. They are two very different feeling cars, the 325i is naturally aspirated and will drive very differently as well as consume a lot more fuel. Probably worth exploring which you prefer the feel of.
@@ItsDanLatham yes you are right. I bought the 325i and had it for about 8months now. Fuel isn’t bad considering that it’s a 3.0l in-line 6 naturally aspirated engine, unless you have a heavy foot lol. The only thing I would say to people looking to get one is to check the spark plugs and injectors. If they need replacing, do it ASAP!!! I had some misfires few months after purchasing and it was due to the spark plugs. They were old and I was very lucky
New Timing chain tensioner and timing chain inspection is a free recall where I live. Check it out. Regarding seats, its inflatable side bolsters. Lumbar is in the back, doesnt look like yours got it. But the side bolsters are very underrated to me, its a killer function when tracking if you ask me.
I have actually spoken to BMW about this now, and they are fairly reluctant but will take a look. Interestingly it falls under a quality control program rather than a recall, and it says its already been done on this car, but the chap says its common for the system to automatically assume its been done if the program has since expired. Time will tell!
@@ItsDanLatham Hmmm. Well I admit recall is technically the wrong word, but it seems the gist of my message was receieved. Anyway, thats bad luck, very strange computer system, sounds a bit suspicious if I am honest, maybe you can get them to change their minds some way? Anyway, as I said they inspected and changed on my two n47 cars for free. Cheers.
@@GoldenCroc I’m going down the route of gentle persuasion! Its going in for the heater recall, so have obtained a defect code from BMW around the timing chain for them to check. I did actually say the same thing to him about the computer system, seems very odd. Also agree regarding the bolstering, I can imagine in an m3 its an absolute treat. Thanks for watching!
Hey, my hat's off to you! You certainly did get the cheapest E92 by a long shot :) And thanks for the shout-out. I'll be following this. Subbed!

Sounds like a bargain. Good luck with it
Thanks mate! Quite like it in comparison to the C220, makes me want to try out a 6 cylinder variant.
7:45 “oh some ketchup, which is good” 💀🤣 wtf haahahah

Meanwhile, as an auto licence holder I can't find a semi decent automatic under 3k, never mind a BMW m-sport lol
great video, just subbed!
What’s the insurance like on them?
Did the e92 come with m57 and how to tell ?
What happened with this car did you keep it, long trips etc ? Thanks

@@ItsDanLatham thanks, loosely looking out for a nice one as an occasional driver....

Just picked mine up for £1500. Great little cars, slightly cheaper 😉 and only 3k more miles.

Replacing xenon for LEDs??? 🤣🤣🤣 Good going bro!!
🤦🏻♂️🤦🏻♂️ the main bulbs are xenon. I was talking about the halo sidelights which are a dim halogen.
Sorry Luke... your car is still better than mine! What do we think about ditching the high mileage merc for a Cat S coupe ?
Or 177hp or 184hp... Hugs from Lisbon.
Hello mate great video keep it up but can you stay consistent on UA-cam as I love watching you videos
Thanks mate hoping to get some more time soon for it, sometimes hard to juggle it with the day job but have got plans !
bro why so cheap, im paying 9400 euros in spain for one
They're not worth very much here now, the only ones even close to that sort of money are good condition 335i
@@ItsDanLatham I was doing some research and yes, cars in your country tend to be way cheaper than here.
Haha I paid 850 for mime running driving mot 150k miles previous cat d
Good find!
👍👍👍👍👍
My mate would sell you his for less than £500
You’d probably get about that for scrap these days. I got £400 scrap for my Saab!
