Omg I absolutely LOVED singing this song in choir in 7th grade last year!!! I love how fast it goes, wish we sang it this year cause we are so much better than last year.
Omg I’m in 7th grade I’m singing it in my choir rn too. It’s everybody’s favorite song because of how fast it is lol. Fast songs are so much fun to sing!
I remember when I sung this in 5th grade but 10x slower and my old school posted a concert today for 5th grade singing this for their concert and I just started singing alone and I missed this song so much 😭
Thank you. Sang this in high school choir 1993 or 1994 and every time I hear Ricky Martin song about his broken heart, I think, I know where they got that song.
😀 Years ago, I was in a children's choir. We sang this song when someone became the Governor of our state. If I remember right, I think I may have been the understudy for the high D6 at the end. But, I didn't get to do it for this concert... Edit- this choir is taking it a bit slower than we did. It is more fun to sing it faster, with consonants on specific beats of the music at the start!
When I started down the street last Sunday, Feelin' mighty low and kinda mean, Suddenly a voice said, "go forth, neighbor! Spread the picture on a wider screen!"
And the voice said, "neighbor there's a million reasons Why you should be glad in all four seasons! Hit the road, neighbor, leave your worries and strife! Spread the religion of the rhythm of life."
For the rhythm of life is a powerful beat, Puts a tingle in your fingers and a tingle in your feet! Rhythm on the inside, rhythm on the street, And the rhythm of life is a powerful beat!
To feel the rhythm of life, To feel the powerful beat, To feel the tingle in your fingers, To feel the tingle in your feet.
Go, go, go! Go, go go! Tell them everything you know!
Go and spread the gospel in Milwaukee; Take a walkie-talkie to Rocky Ridge! All the way to Canton, then to Scranton, Even tell it under the Manhattan Bridge.
You will make a new sensation, Have a growing congregation, Build a glowing operation here below! Like a Pied Piper blowing, Lead and keep the music flowing, Keep the rhythm go, go, going; go, go, go!
Flip your wings and fly up high! Flip your wings and fly up high! Flip your wings and fly up high! Fly, fly, fly up high!
You can do it if you try! You can do it if you try! You can do it if you try! Try, try, try to fly!

I love how they took the original song that mocks religions and followers and turned it into something “inspiring”. Blah. Wonderful music, horrible appropriation.
I woke up with this music in my head! A friend has taught me Reaper DAW, and I am SOOO going to record this, and dedicate it to my Angel of Music, Steve, who directed our children's choir! Except, I am going to take it at about the tempo of Obsession by See-Saw for the Japanese Anime .hack//SIGN! The low G at the bottom of the bass clef is going to be a stretch. I am a soprano! But, I can't wait to get started! Thanks so much, again, for putting this recording on UA-cam! And, for including the music for SATB! When we did it in the children's choir, it was the SSA version! Thanks again! Love, Susan

Even after sanitization, the pied piper line was left in. Was it forgotten that the Pied Piper led the children following him to their deaths.
The words differs from the one I've done
Its adapted (◔_◔)
@@MagnesisPlus then which one is the original?

The one you did would be the original, there are two versions
