My interpretation of the video:
So basically, there are 6 scenes on the rolling frame and all of them together portray different phases of a breakup. Phase 1 being where he's crying, 2 being where he's packing up the belongings of his beloved, 3 being where he's on the floor, looking kinda angry and frustrated, and 4 being where he's filling up the gas, kinda looking like he is lost. All of these phases can alter between one another in order, but this is my take on it.
Last 2 stages are where he really brings meaning to the video and the song and that is what fascinates me the most. He basically starts writing a song in his journal and then the last stage being where he's actually singing it, surrounded by dozens of flowers behind him. It's like a bush full of pretty flowers bloomed when he decided to water the right feelings and channel his pain into something artistic, something creative, something beautiful. Hats off to the creative director, this was an ingenious idea. I'm a fan.
