Install Sequential LED Mirror Light - Nissan Pathfinder
Вставка
- Опубліковано 24 лют 2021
- In this video, I will show how to replace the side mirror LED light on a Nissan Pathfinder from the regular amber light to a much brighter sequential flashing LED light. The installation will require you to disassemble the side mirror. You must be very careful during the disassembly so you don't break any of the parts. See the entire video for full detail.

Guess who is changing his car lights?!. Thank you for this great video, specially with the hiidden screw tip. I would have probably never figure out there was a screw there.
Broke the lens on my 2017 Rogue, few simple differences in side but the video saved me some money. Thanks!
Excellent tutorial, top quality descriptions and depictions.
Don't even have a Nissan but love this step-by-step video. Keep it up.
Perfect video for DIY! Thank you!
Instructions worked great. Thanks!
thanks for makin this video and including so much detail
I’m glad you’re making these, I have a 2018 midnight rogue and a lot of these parts are universal so it helps!
Va fl x
Very detailed instructions... thanks a lot..I have 2015 nissan xtrail would love to apply this coming summer..😊👍
You upload this as I'm literally expecting my sequential mirror signals for my Maxima to come in tomorrow 😂
It's just the strip though, so I'm gonna have to heat the mirror lens open. Thanks for the tips!
good job = thank you!
I just did for my path 17 love it. Thanks
I have a 17 Pathfinder and I don’t have wiring that I can just “unplug”. It goes into mirror assembly and into car via hole. What pathfinder don’t you have and it is an American version?
@@VETERANMASTER Yes, it has a plug, the tail of a light it circle. i hope find it. plug and play
This is awwwwesome!!!!!!
I've been searching for these for my 2013 Hyundai Sonata. Where can I get these for my car?
I never subscribed to this channel, but yet I get 10 like y'all every day! Way to go CCP!
You are a Pro 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍. Thank You
He really is. I’m awaiting for the infotainment swap he may or may not do lol.
I am back with my other comment. I already ordered a new mirror(took mirror off twice and top clips broke). *I did not see my top clips upward to push down as yours. Soooo....Looked at wrong video that connection clip was different. Yours like mine has that rubber surround to wires going into light. Mine are really pushed inward. Will use needle nose pliers to wiggle it out. Seeing you do this I know now I should have a clip once I pull that wire out. Should get new mirror next week. Will wait so I can still use mirror I have as
it looks connected but think bottom clip is what I heard snap on. Glad I continued to view videos I saved and yours suits my 19-Rogue and hoping for good changes next week. Thanks for a very nice explicit video installing these lights. OH...think this was replaced before, I have no bottom clips in the middle of the cover. Still was holding well so will still continue to use what was on the suv. Thanks again for your HELP!!!! Best Video !
Appreciate your time in sharing your experience. Hope your new mirror will work out.
Did you ever tried installing foot sensor hood lift for Odyssey?
Really good videos. Do you know any option for Apple CarPlay in this Pathfinder model?
@dial2fast did you ever tried installing foot sensor hood lift for Odyssey?
Thanks for the great tutorial. I followed this and was able to remove the old LED that was not lighting. However found no voltage on that connection. So, my new sequential is also not lightening. There is voltage 13 v on the defogger connection. What may be the fault?
Great suggestion, and the installation process was done perfect! Keep us up with more ideas especially for the Pathfinder. Ps you think the smoke black version would be too dark in its operating stage or does it remain as bright as the clear version that you got?
The aftermarket one is very bright, so even if it has a smoke tint, it will still be plenty bright.
Just an FYI... If you do break a clip, depending on where it breaks you might be able to repair using crazy/super glue and baking soda. I broke a major clip off a car trim piece and repaired it using crazy glue and baking soda.
** I ordered mine from your Amazon-Link. *YEAH* Ebay was shipping from China(not)...You covered what I learned that many parts will fit other models. I have upgraded using X-Trail parts on my 2019 Rogue. This will be my 3rd or 4th Led Upgrade. I earlier had installed the switchback led sequential switch under my hood with my blinkers. This is more CLAM for my Orange Rogue. My Juke I had running lights I put on & led strips on the cat-eyes. Someone once told me I looked like a space ship coming down the road. I love upgrading a car or suv. I will also subscribe as this video was GREAT! Just don't know what drill tip you used. Thanks
That drill bit is called a step bit, and it's really good for drilling plastic and sheet metal because it does not pull through as you drill making drilling safer and more controlled. You can pick one up here: amzn.to/3kWsXxs
Hi a question and hope you can help address. The cable of turning light does not fit the original one. I could not fit it in. How should I do?
hello the interior lights of my 2015 pathfinder do not work for me can you help me please
You should get some carbon fiber mirror caps
Do they require load resistors? I didn't see you test them one side at a time to see if they'll hyperflash
No load resistor needed
If I were to upgrade my front turn signals to LED, would the sequential turn signals flash at the same speed as the front turn signals?
AKA if the front turn signals speed up, will the sequential ones compensate for that?
The speed of the flasher is determined by the flashing relay. As long as you don't have hyperflash issue, the sequential side turn will flash quick enough to match the front turn.
@@dial2fast thank you so much!
Where can I purchase those lights
I know u said a link but I did not see it
Link in video description.
Hi. My new 2023 Nissan Ariya Evolve does not come with outside mirror light indicator. Was there a video on how to tap power to the led light strip? Thx
Note. The Ariya Platinum comes with outside mirror led lights but the Ariya Evolve does not. The parts dealer does not think it will be plug and play if I order the led light for my Evolve trim
The only way to find out if it's prewired is to remove your door panel and the side mirror and take a look.
@@dial2fast if it’s not prewired, wasn’t there a video from you how to wire to the front corner light?
@@marketbuy You will have to find a way to run the wire from the mirror into the door, and into the car, then through the firewall and into the engine compartment to connect to the turn signal wires. Unless you are a car alarm/car stereo installer with experience, you won't be able to do it.
Wouldn't this apply to the murano aswell
The LED light itself will be the same but the mirror cover clip location may differ slightly.
I have a 2019 Nissan Pathfinder and the two small wires you detach from the back of the mirror in the beginning , I don’t have them. Could I have pulled them off ? The back of the mirror doesn’t have connection either
The 2 wires going to the mirror is for heated mirrors. If you don't have the wires, then your Pathfinder doesn't have that option.
@@dial2fast thanks ! Makes sense
Broke 2 clips, and stopped. Did the cost benefits analysis and it's too risky to repalce color matched covers and a power mirror.
What size step drill bit did you use?
Don't remember, but I drilled the hole big enough to fit the screwdriver. Approximately 3/8"
@@dial2fast thank you
Attempted this in my 17 pathfinder and the lights have a different connector than the one in video. Now have to send back the lights. 😤 The lights you link on Amazon come with a different connector. A “male” connector. Can’t use two “male” connectors and I’m not splicing wires when it’s supposed to be plug and play. If you click the link you’ll see what I’m talking about. Had to return them.
Received my refund. The Amazon linked ones aren’t for American vehicles. Will order the eBay ones which have a different connector and hope for the best.
Are them Pathfinder reliable people say Nissan will not hold up like Toyota Highlander
only worry about it is the CVT transmission... everything else seems to be good
@@joedesalvo3316 No Thanks will go with the Toyota Highlander.
@@john1240able you sound like a Scotty Kilmer sheep. You do know he’s an “influencer” on a payroll right? Open your eyes and use your brain.
@@VETERANMASTER Did sir did buy brand new pathfinder even what bad scotty had say about.
@@john1240able and you love it right? Just change the transmission fluid on schedule and you’ll be fine. I actually did mine at 80k (instead of 60k) and still good. Zero issues. Congrats on the new ride.
U about to have me.spend all my money 😂🤦
Nah. Too much work and risk for the little return. (More features/electronics also mean a higher failure rate).
Tell us how they are doing in 1, 2 years.
Sure will.
