Newbie to motorcycles and Spyders. Just bought my first one dec 2019 , Spyder F3 base model. Love it and really admire your channel and videos. I'm also an educator in the public school system. Thanks
Gilbert Pardo II welcome to the awesome world of riding. It is an exhilarating, wonderful, expensive and exhausting lifestyle...we absolutely love it. Welcome to the channel... Keep on teaching and riding 👍🏍🍻
Great video....I will be riding my Spyder RT down to Daytona this weekend, along with my brother and around six other Spyder riders. Flexing the power of Can Am down I95, gonna be epic!!!
That last Harley you showed, black and gray with orange stripes, was absolutely beautamous. Thanks for the commentary and shots of the Spyders show more If you can.
I’m editing part two as I type this. I’m going to, for sure, include as much CanAm footage as I have. I’ve got a picture of the wildest bagger I’ve ever seen in the next video. The front tire was so tall, I looked for a size and brand of tire. I could find nothing on the side of that tire. I don’t know if the guy bought a tire and cut it to fit or what. It was wild!
@@CoachBob3 Hey Coach, concerning the Moto PG motorcycle, there's the word "REPSOL" on it. I've seen it on other bikes and wonder what it means. Can you enlighten me? Thanks.
REPSOL is a fossil fuel company based out of Spain. They are the sponsor of the Honda Moto GP Team that Marc Marquez rides on..."REPSOL Honda". They'd be like the EXXON Mobile sponsor in NASCAR.
You had my attention with your thumbnail caption. I was a F & B Mgr. At a beach hotel in Daytona in the late 80's, I' wasn't a biker but I went to main Street had a blast with my wife kids. I was looking for a Daytona Bike Week Tee Shirt, but I didn't want Harley Davidson all over it, I wanted a bike week shirt. After going to several shops looking for this shirt, I went into one shop, told the clerk what I was looking for, he started cussing me out, for bashing Harley Davidson, ( Which I wasn't.) Then ran me out of the store still cussing at me. I did finally find just a bike week shirt. Lol. Great trip. Thanks for the Ryde along. Stay Alert. Ryde Safe, in a fun way. Thanks for sharing. Keep on Spydering.
Glad you got your shirt.. the old "Angry Clerk", some people are just unhappy, we did well this time..in fact it was great. The thumbnail was taken with two random bikers. I explained the 'SHIFT" we made from 2 wheels to 3 wheels, and why the CanAm. They were very kind...we laughed way to hard taking that picture.
It's that kind of attitude that kept me from buying a Harley for many years. I had a Hydra Glide when I was in high school but didn't keep it too long when I came across a Triumph Tiger 650. I rode everything except a Harley for the next 55 years until a year ago when I came across a deal on a 97 Wide Glide that I couldn't pass up but I still like my Guzzi California Stone much better.
Thank you for sharing. We have Bikes, Blues and BBQ in Fayetteville Arkansas just a few miles from where we live and I never go. Just not really into the crowds and noise.
Hey coach, former Harley and Buell rider checking in. I'm in the wind with an F3 now and it's a great machine. Your comment about truck tire carcasses really brought back a wicked scene for me. I was going through Chicago behind a 10-wheel dumper and a tire blew right in front of me. I'm glad I was paying attention because failing a quick dodge and I would have messed up my beloved Beemer....oh and me too I guess. Great video. Ride safe, you two!
Speedsterjohnny great story about the truck tires.. glad you escaped it safely... My son at 16 was learning to drive..we were beside a truck. I told him accelerate, you don’t want to be beside this thing if that tire blows.. he looked at me like, yeah, whatever... about that time “BANG”.. he swerved and said a bad word. We laughed... he told me he’d never ride bedside or behind one again. It’s either follow way back or pass quickly. Words to live by. Buell.. man those things were so cool. I get all “nostalgic” just thinking about them.
@@CoachBob3 I owned a 1998 S1W White Lightening, a real badass with a loud pipe. That was traded for a more sensible 2000 S3 that was quieter and more civilized. Thanks for the reply.
Doing well so far thanks, just gotta keep the faith that there is some purpose for all this and that it we we will get through this crazy stuff. Blessings.
Hey there. I've been riding my Spyder F3T since November 2019. Road it to Daytona Beach Bike Week last week with a friend who rides a Harley. Best time I've had in a long while. I'm new to riding. Would not have been able to make that trip on a two wheeler, wouldn't have been ready. I thought I looked pretty hot! LOL
Coach Bob, just watched you for the 1st time. Loved the video and how you take care of Coach Vic. Looking for my 1st bike or trike @65. Keep riding in the wind bro. Ty😎
Tyrone Collins thank you so much for the kind words. We are having a blast making these videos. We hope you sub to the channel and hang out with us. That’s great on getting your bike or trike. When you get it... I’d love to hear about it. 👍😎👍🍻
It’s funny. My entire life my own children jokingly called me coach. They always said I was motivating them and their friend like a coach. Years later... after retiring from the FAA ... I was asked to coach swim and track at a private school. Then Vic became my assistant swim coach. I’ve been coaching both sports for 5 years now. It’s been an amazing experience.
I have looked at the 2020 RT Limited and plan to get one this summer, depending on all this stuff going on right now and how long this BS last. I have been trying to find out if the 2020 can be ordered with at stock CB radio installed! Last time I was at Bike Week was 2005 and it was nuts there then!
Excellent...That's gonna be great. It is a fine machine. I don't believe the CB is an option.. they've taken that option off of the Goldwing from what I understand as well. Yeah...things are certainly crazy right now. Hopefully things return to normal soon.
Enjoyed the tour, but find your music interludes are much louder than your voice audio. Especially at the 15:44 mark of this vlog. A uncomfortable surprise, when listening with earbuds on a iPad. Otherwise, looking forward to episode two, :-). Safe Travels Brother, 🙂 🏍
I’ll try to watch that... it’s sometimes difficult getting all of the audio levels balanced properly with so many clips. Hope I didn’t make you spit your coffee ☕️ out. I guess I got carried away on the vibe. 🍻 🍻
