**EARLY ARRIVAL** NYC Firefighters go to Work with a Setback on Fire in The Bronx [7-5 Box 4394]

  • In the afternoon of April 1st, Firefighters in the 15th Battalion (northern Bronx) responded to a phone alarm for a fire in a multiple dwelling on Bruner Ave. First arriving units gave an urgent 10-75 for a basement fire, which quickly extended to the rear setback of the building. Numerous lines were run and an aggressive knock down brought the fire under control in under an hour.
    Few notes: I was driving through the area on I-95 when the box came in, and arrived with the 10-75 companies. All the footage in the rear was shot through a plexiglass window in the exposure 4 yard, the only angle I could find of the fire. Late in the video there is also a clip of Rescue 3 leaving the box to respond to a major-technical matrix for a report of a person in an elevator shaft in the 18th battalion.
