I agree with you. THose 6 inch Indys are going to pegwarm. Two of those Indys were Indiana in a suit. They didnt start off with a Regular trademark Indy. They Shouldve started there and included an artifact from each movie with it. The Gold fertility idol, Sankara Stone, Holy Grail and a crystal skull.

Love the idea of him coming with 4 artifacts! How about making some troops or thugs for him to fight, too!?

@@noskillcustoms Right?! The 3 old dudes in suits it’s a dumb idea. 2 Indy’s in suits no hat and a Donovan in a suit. Who?!!

I was never able to find the Temple of Doom and Last Crusade figures in stores so I never completed collecting this line of figures. Although to me they were never really complete because of some of the missing characters that never came out like Marcus Brody and Walter Donovan and a few others.
There was a missed opportunity and now that the line they released will probably be done I don't know what the future will be for Indiana Jones merchandise.
They are putting out a video game so they aren't entirely done with it after Dial of Destiny didn't quite pan out the way they wanted. Maybe they'll bring the 3.75 line back someday who knows.
Do you watch Awesome Action Toys at all? He reviews a lot of 1:18 scale stuff from random lines including figures, vehicles and playsets and the like.
Anyway I think that's it for now but knowing me I've forgotten some stuff. Great video.

I’d have loved it if the Adventure Series was 1:18- I’d have bought them all! As it is I didn’t buy anything! I’ll be sure to check out Awesome Action Toys’ videos.

If they had made VC style figures, I would get Indie just to make a lone star custom from him.

I’m waiting for the day that I find a 1:18 scale Winnebago at a garage sale- then I’m going all in on the Spaceballs customs! The 2008 Indy figures would probably do a decent job though.

@@noskillcustoms I have searchd for a 1:18 winnebago with no luck but have found eagle one STL files on the net. It is not 1:18 but that can be adjusted. only problem is it will be huge, LOL.

    Nice suggestions here! 👌
I didn't collect any Indy figures previously, and I'm kinda kicking myself. I have the retro Indy figure on pre-order, but I'm scratching my head about the pipeline reveals, as taken as a whole, they don't make for a full scene. It's all disjointed. The Belloq figure is my key issue with the proposed figures. Surely it would of been better to release him as the jungle variation or the cafe version? It just feels a bit lazy to me.
Still, I'm looking forward to getting some of them and a playset of some description would be welcome.
I really like your ideas on potential vehicles! 👏
I don't do 6 inch, 3.75 for world building for me!

I think Belloq is meant to go with the ark and melting face Toht, but where’s Dietrich- having all 3 bad guys would fill out the scene and I think Belloq would make more sense then.

Whoever at Hasbro that's coming out with these lame 6 inch figures ideas needs to get fired, they're not going to sell. It's got to be just 3.75 inch scale only.

it is simple i ONLY am interested in 3 3/4 figures and i am NOT interested in lame retro style. the big companies are basically forcing me out of collecting by trying to force everyone to switch to 6". i have been collecting since 1990 and i only collect or care about 4" figure lines. there is no way in all of hell that i am gong to start over in a new scale.

    • @lamarravery4094

That's why Kenner created the 3.75 inch line in the first place, for world building. The vehicles are a must. I wish people would quit buying all the other scales, they're part of the problem.

@@lamarravery4094 i have been bitching about this for years. we all started playing with 2 2/3" in the 70s with star Wars, then all sorts of other lines came out in that scale to compete, eventually G.I.Joe relaunched in that scale to compete and was bigger than ever. then in the 80s you had some things like MOTU that managed to hit big but there were a lot of other lines like Silver Hawks and Sectaurs and even MASK that sort of xame and went and i always felt like part of the reason those lines didnt di better was because they were in weird scales that didnt match anything else. then all through the 90s and into the 2000s Star Wars and G.I.Joe rules the action figures and the 3 3/4" kept going. then at some point i first really noticed it when the Marvel Legends started getting big, but yeah more and more 6" inch lines started coming out over time and the NEW collectors were getting that. but what has happened now is kids dont play with action figures like they use to so a lot of the market was adult collectors which is a much smaller marlet than when EVERY kid was playing with action figures. so already there is a maller market for action figure lines, then the companies start choosing between 6" and 4" and a lot of collectors only collectanea of those. so right out of the gate they have already cut their smaller customer community into two camps, so now when you make a line you are only getting a portion of the sales because half of your collectors dont want that size. it was so much easier when we all collected the same size and to me it seems like the toy companies shot themselves in the foot by switching to two competing scales. which they are now trying to remedy by forcing everyone to go 6", and yeah i for ne have zero interest in 6", they are too big for good displays and something about them i always think doesnt even look as cool. in theory they are suppose to have better sculpting and articulation in that scale, but most 6" figures i see look weirdly proportioned to me somehow. i dont know, the whole thing is tireing. i guess i am starting to be happy they are forcing me out so i can stop blowing all my money. now i soend my time and money trying to get nice display cases for the 33 years of figures i have since i stopped playing and started collecting.
