If you’re watching this right now, it’s not by coincidence. I feel compelled to tell you, disappointment is inevitable, discouragement is a choice! You haven’t failed in completing your goals, you just delayed them. Keep striving, keep fighting, and never give up. You are on the brink of greatness! God Bless!

It’s now 5 years since I found this video when I was a coked up junkie in a really bad place in life. I had lost all my friends and family. I watched this video everyday for 2 years and now I’m clean and have my family back along with a job I always wanted but thought I’d never get.

You, you reading this on your screen. I know you have gone through a lot in your life. But I want you to keep pushing on. There is so much to live for in your life. I know that things are hard right now, and that you might be tired of fighting. Yet life is like a glowstick. Sometimes you need to snap before you can shine. So, i want you to keep fighting, to keep being that amazing person you are. Dont let anyone ever tell you that you are wrong for being different, or being a little crazier than others. Dont let anyone tell you that you aren't normal, because no ones normal. The world is full of creativity and you have become one of the main center pieces. So smile on. Keep pushing towards the light. Its waiting for you. Just remember, there is always someone there. You may not notice them all the time, but there is always someone out there looking out for you.

    1. ”Our rewards in life will always be in exact proportion to our contribution.”
    2. The gold mine. Think deliberately and with a purpose - use the gold mine between your ears. You can improve your effectiveness with 50-100% or more. Wake up early and write down your financial goal. Find ways to improve what you do now and increase your contribution. Write down 5 ideas a day.
    3. Attitude - the most important word in our language. The greatest discovery is that we can alter our lives by altering our attitudes of mind. Your total environment is a mirror of you. Begin to act as the person you most want to become. Your attitude will determine the attitude people have towards you.

Yeah, Bob Proctor said in his seminar in the 80s that ”it doesn’t really matter what we say, or what we write on the board. That’s not important. What’s important is what you’re thinking as a result of what we say, or write on the board. That’s what is important. There’s a difference between listening and hearing. You hear with your ears, and you listen with your emotions”

I've been a professional salesman on straight commission for over 30 years. When things are not going well, I go back to these principles. My thinking is not correct. That's always the problem. You have to get your mind right. Start over. You fix that, (and get your assets in gear!), and things immediately turn around. Make sure if you took the time to listen to this, that you go DO IT. It will change everything.

    1. Our rewards in life will always be in exact proportion to our contribution, our service.
The money you are paid by the company you work for will always be in direct ratio to the need for what you do, and the degree of difficulty involved in replacing you.
    2. The Goldmine: The key to every human being’s success lays in his mind, the goldmine between his ears.
One idea can make you rich.
A lot of good ideas can move you steadily upwards in the work you do.
Nothing is now being done as well as it must be done in the future.
Think deliberately and with a purpose.
Begin by thinking at a special time every day.
How will my business be conducted ten years from now? Try to do it now.
    a) Start getting up a little earlier than you are accustomed to.
    b) Write your financial goal at the top of a blank piece of paper (the amount of money per year you intend to earn soon).
    c) Think about your goal and what it would mean to you and your family.
    d) See how many ideas you can come up with to help you reach that goal, ideas to improve what you now do for a living, ways of increasing your contribution to match your income goal.
    f) Think of ways of improving what is now being done.
Try for five ideas every morning and write them down.
Save those sheets of paper in a special ideas file.
Try to develop a feeling of expectancy. Try to develop a feeling that the goal you are shooting for is a sure thing and that it is only a matter of time before it is realized.
TRY NOT TO THINK OF THINGS OUTSIDE OF YOUR OWN LINE OF WORK OR WHATEVER IT IS YOU ARE MOST INTERESTED IN.
TO THINK WELL AND PROFITABLY YOU MUST DISCIPLINE YOUR THINKING. KEEP IT ON COURSE, CONTROLLED. KEEP IT IN ONE FIELD. SPECIALIZE!
    3) The Word: ATTITUDE.
Human beings can alter their lives by altering their attitudes and mind.
WE BECOME WHAT WE THINK ABOUT.
Your total environment is a reflection of you as a person.
Beginning now, begin to act as would the person you most want to become.
    That is:
IF YOU WERE ALREADY IN POSSESSION OF THE GOAL YOU ARE SHOOTING FOR, HOW WOULD YOU CONDUCT YOURSELF AND ALL OF YOUR AFFAIRS?
Well, do it now, and tomorrow and the next day.
BEGIN NOW TO ACT THE PART OF THE PERSON YOU MOST WANT TO BECOME and you will end by becoming that person, subtly, in little ways, in the way you dress, in the way you talk, in the unfailing courtesy you show to every person to whom you come in contact.
Begin to act the part of the person who has already achieved that which you are shooting for.
Before you can do something, you must first be something.
When you behave like the person you most want to become, the things that person would have tend to come to you. It is simply cause and effect.
Don’t be in too big of a hurry. It takes longer to build a skyscraper than to build a chicken coop. Build slowly, steadily, and well. Then when you make it, you’ll keep it. You’ll stay on top.
It’s your attitude toward the people with whom you come in contact with, that will determine their attitudes toward you.
Practice your attitude every day, every waking hour.

I listened to this with the 20 minutes I had before a cd I was waiting on dropper at midnight. I’ve been attempting new ventures and trying to increase my income, but it’s sobering to hear that I’m on the right track for my little family and myself. I took a sticky note and wrote some of his quotes down and stuck it to my mirror. This is an essential 19 minutes for any young man or woman pursuing comfort.

For some reason, my mind doubts this is true, but when I ponder it deeply I can find nothing that disproves it. So I believe it.

I did it for 60 days, and I have learned to implement a positive attitude every morning when I wake by announcing "i will have a great and successful day" and it becomes so. April 2018 was my biggest month where i generated 30k in sales. I have learned to plan my days and especially weekends.

It’s so true! I just discovered this video in my two-hour morning studying time. I started waking up early about three months ago to plan my future with no interruptions. I started also writing ideas down. The advancement in my knowledge and especially in my studies has been so great in such a short time, that I am back to school to get licensed as an RD, I am learning to invest and I am creating a brand new life, just by waking up early to think and study. You can do it!

Rich people think differently to less well off people. Rich people think in terms of ideas, where as less well off people think in terms of hard work, saving and money grabbing. Get the idea, build the brand, employ other people to work for you, and most importantly, use other peoples money. For example open one shop show the bank it's success and use their money to open the next one. Before you know it, the big boys will be knocking on your door to buy the brand. It worked for me.

Never got to hear Earl on his 1950's & 60s Radio shows , but he seemed to be very intelligent man. March 12, 1921- March 25, 1989) was an American radio speaker and author, dealing mostly with the subjects of human character development, motivation, and meaningful existence. Earl also served his country during WWII with the United States Marine Corps Thanks for posting.

I am absolutely shocked there is not a business school named after him.

@@jasong3379 All of the principles that are outlined by E. Nightingale on the cassette recording from decades ago still apply to how to be successful in your career or in business. It is even more apt in the technology sector that is notorious for its constant disruption and instability. In spite of that, there are tremendous opportunities, especially during boom times (and even during downturns if you play your cards right).
