Dear Basicbill, What is the avg lifetime of these machines? I was researching them, and they are quite expensive - do you own these machines or do you lease it from other companies or share it with other farms? Also, do any cooperatives rent out these machines?

I grew up near a Pioneer plant. The corn is picked on the cob and then sorted for quality. I believe it is easier to pull out poor quality ears than poor quality kernels.
