Olly always harks back to the 147 and with great reason. My suggestion for content is maybe a test drive of an Alfa Giulia Quadrifoglio. All the quirks and character of the Italian brand, a 503bhp V6 twin turbo with RS3 pace in the straights and sounds epic to boot. All the best to you all.
Lol there’s nothing reliable about Mercedes. Super unreliable actually. Bmws are bulletproof and so are Audis. Im talking about their performance models. B58,S54 just like Daza. Give them hell and they give back paradise all they long
I own a new RS3 carbon sportback in tango red, mine's got the RS pack though. All you seem to talk about is driving it. You don't mention the cheap plastics in the interior or the horrible piano black trim? The B&O sound system is absolutely terrible and the drive mode navigation is full of glitches, but I do know Audi have a software fix coming. You can't fully turn off the lane assist, so every time you start to car have to remember to disable it, else you'll find the car trying to take over the steering all the time. Oh and what a joke the whole process is of logging into the car every time you drive it. Mine sometimes takes several minutes to select the user. All that aside, it's good car, but not great. The seats aren't very supportive and you sit too high, but that's obviously different for everyone I guess. I've done 900 miles in mine and will be selling it as I've been left very underwhelmed by all the cost cutting and cheapness. It's a bit quiet as well. I ordered mine in September 21 and got it March 23, so should at least make a few quid on the sale, as they're very sought after - by people who've never driven one 🤣
Sorry to hear you haven't enjoyed yours Maurice! I understand some of your points, but can't say I agree with all of them. Hopefully you find something that ticks all of your boxes!
I have a '23 RS3 "Saloon" here in the USA. Coming from an '06 Mazda Miata, the interior in the RS3 is much, much better. I had the Mazda for 17 years and never had an issue with the black piano trim on the dash and don't expect to have any with the Audi. I like the interior design because it is very clean and not busy like a lot of other cars. Regarding the lane assist, here in the USA, you can turn it off and it stays off. I've never turned it on in my car. Logging in is no big deal - just poke the MMI on your name. The car remembers any RS Individual settings that apply to you. My seats are very comfortable for me. If Audi did put a top-notch interior in the RS-3, it would likely cost 5K more.
Thanks for this insight that perfectly underlines the first impression that I had as a passenger in this car. Some of the interior plastics (for example around the center console where the open cupholders are) are so horrendously cheap I could almost not believe it. Clearly so much worse than in the previous generation. And I've heard about the quirky infotainment and B&O that is supposed to be significantly worse than the predecessor. I've owned a S3 8V with B&O and really enjoyed that so I hope the new one would be just as good. Regarding the lane assist that always reactivates, I guess that's due to new regulations. It's the same in many other post 2020 cars I've been in.
I love a big saloon but the A3 just doesn’t look right. For me it’s gotta be hatchback all the way in a smaller car. As a road car it’s a pretty good choice - easy to drive fast or slow depending on how you feel, but the compromise is that driver engagement. I think you need a weekend toy in addition to the RS3 😉
@@NaturallyAspirated oh no ! Thought you were selling must have missed something on the vid 👍. Still looking for mine hoping books going to be opened again to order
This is the only vehicle I would have gotten as a hatch, but alas, it's not offered here in the US of A. So Kyalami Green sedan it is. Production starts this month.
Have loved owning this weapon for a year! Would love to hear of other ownership stories below!
So the car is getting a face-lift for sure? I have one on order here in the US.
@@germanengineering204 I believe there are leaked photos coming out of Germany
@@NaturallyAspirated Thank you!
5 cylinder goodness!
The Sportback is growing on me but I have the sedan and still prefer it

You may potentially be a mind reader !
I am hoping Ed sees this comment !
Really love this car!
What rear spoiler and side skirts are on that please?
These are the stock ones that come with the carbon black kit.
Do you have factory upgrade muffler or standard?
It has the RS performance exhaust on it!
How about the maintenance? does Audi is reliable as Mercedes or it's just like the BMW in terms of maintenance cost & durability ??? .
Growing up, my dad had Audi's and they rarely went wrong! The RS3 hasn't put a foot wrong so far and I am most certainly using it!

Saloon all the way.
Fair enough!
Great one lad, so jealous 🙌🏽

Sportback for me lads!
Hi bud
What’s the miles on it ? And which dealer is it going too ??????
Under 10k and its not going to any dealer, I am happy with it, but won't say no if someone makes me an offer I can't say no to haha!

Sportback, I have a dog so I prefer it. Mine is in daytona grey 😁
Hello fellow dog owning sportback owner !
The fault is the digital cockpit view in performance mode. Those bars that come towards you are awful.
I didn't like them to begin with... they are starting to grow on me!
What do you think about mk5 Supra vs this
Very different cars! However the GR Supra is on the list to own one day!
Sportback for sure!
Saloon all day
She goes
Saloon RS.3 VW Jetta
Still annoys me, and I think looks really cheap, is how Audi don't flare the rear arches on the RS3!
It could do with a bit extra on the booty
400 miles to a tank. Surely not?!?!!!
It has happened a few times! I do a few miles on the motorway which helps!
Subbing for more RS3 content!
There will be more to come !
If you want a saloon you get an rs4. RS3 is meant to be a hatch and always was
B4 RS4 optimises this for us!
