Homeworld Revelations mentions it. The Needleships were not their only mobile homes. Around half of the Kadeshi rejoined with the Hiigarans, while the other half spread across the stars. A small group chose to stay in Kadesh to rebuild.
I mean, i recently saw a complete Game-movie of Homeworld (all cutscenes and ingame chatter important for story) that was 1 hour and 17 minutes. So recapping all of that oneself, with scene recreation - great work and i love the results!

Also, love the details of they both still using same First Contact procedure, and the accidental friendly signal. Also, also, imagine Fleet Command orders all fleets to engage the Tiidani fleets to protect the only friend they have in the whole galaxy. Homeworld has to be turned into a tv show. Shit would be epic.

What an absolute piece of art as assembled down into a lovely compendium, a lore movie for the uninitiated. This is a level of quality completely alien to UA-cam as a whole, much less the 'lore' genre, which is attached to its slow pans of loosely related game screenshots and occasional 2d, silhouettes. Which may even move if your lucky. The concept that there's a whole channel worth of this waiting to be seen is incredible, and I plan to watch allll the rest of your content in time. In the meantime, Incredible work! Please, keep up what your doing, its a step above all your competition in a way that's frankly unbelievable.

Why Bentusi sold them ion cannon in that critical moment for just 800 RU, was a question I never thought about when I was teenager, back then I believed Bentusi help the Kushan out of kindness. when HW2 came out I thought they must shared some common goal or vision for the future. Then in my 30s remaster was released, upon play again, I had a revelation the Bentusi is using this trade to threaten the emprise so they can get more influence in the 'console'. Now with the remaster become history, I once again thought about this question, I now have a better theory of what is going on. Bentusi is in the trade business kind like the space guild, by 'help' the Kushan they threaten the stability of the empire. If rule of the empire is shaken they can increase the price of everything they trade in the galaxy. Oh how much doomer I have become.
The Bentusi was just following the first rule of trade : Fuck Taxes Same as the way they gave us the bloody Super Capital Blueprints for free lol. They were probably going to give it to us anyway, asking for a copy of an alien SSD was just a cover me thinks.

It's mainly because the story was not what people expected, and the rumors that the man who wrote Borderlands 3, another polarizing third game, also wrote part of HW3's story. Don't worry, there's no Ava in this one. Although the Queen is definitely strange-minded, Imogen and Karan are fine.
Do they not understand what "alien" means??? Everyone in the Homeworld series is HUMAN!! So obviously, their ancestors share a singular planet of origin, and it isn't any of the ones we see.
It's a shame. two decades of waiting, just to get something that's really mediocre. The story is really bad. The CG cinematics are very odd looking and out of place. Maps are too small. Very few skirmish maps (Think only 5 or 4). The strategic and tactical aspects are lacking, doesn't help that the very small maps just forces you to blob your units all the time and the campaign can be finished in less that 7 hours. At least they got the aesthetics, graphics, and audio-design right. But thats it. Style over substance really.
Homeworld was an amazing, interesting game. Its expansions were good. Embellishments upon something great. Homeworld 2 was mid at best. It lost the character of its progenitor. Homeworld 3 on the far left field foot is a miserable disgrace that ever fell upon the world of storytelling. WOW. You did it. You made one of the weirdest stories into a political event. Good for you. Happy selling.
To damn waste of Homeworld 3... With this legacy to build on, and they totally trashed it! Due to activist within the BBI. Now, the gameplay, skirmish and multiplayer is in a good state. So I do recommend the game if you want epic space battles. It's promising if the patches and DLCs is good. But forget the campaign and it's story.
Homeworld 3 is a disaster. OG fans stay away from it. If you like ugly characters, basic gameplay or other _modern_ mechanics, it’s for you. Enjoy your 6 hours.
