Saad Jee Tabassam, thank you for this introduction to Adobe Firefly. Speaking personally I see great benefit in reviewing this Adobe software - and any other software that is designed to impress - with objectivity and moderation.
What concerns me about Firefly and Midjourney is their potential to de-escalate creative artist’s development. I say this because of the mechanistic nature, and “dumbing down” of image creation, that should take time to be of any lasting value.
I also concern that international use of this technology will inadvertently assist in doing away with nuance in non-American nation’s language. Outside of commercial settings artist’s should be free to create work that is particular to themselves, and their culture. For this reason I concern further “Americanisation” of language via technology could lead to artist’s becoming a sort of blob of conformity.
You made a very good point. Your concerns about tools like Adobe Firefly are valid, especially regarding their potential impact on artistic development and cultural expression. It's crucial to strike a balance between leveraging technology for creative purposes and preserving the unique characteristics of art and language but due to the high demand for AI and its easy access (which is a good thing), it seems we can't escape its influence. However, I believe that in the future when the market get saturated with similar looking artworks everywhere then the people will purposely seek out designers to create unique, on-demand artworks to convey their message and stand out of the crowd that reflect specific cultures and values.

I want to create an image using Firefly, MidJourney or the like, to showcase a product I have, which is a golf cart battery charger, and incorporate it into another image, or create another image that has a golf cart and a person observing the charger charging the golf cart, for example in a garage or on someones drive etc. What would you suggest is the best way to do this?

I am hoping to use my own pictures of my dogs, and my friends dog and then add a paint splatter. I did one by putting a prompt of a Shitzu dod with a paint splatter but would rather use my own photo. Is this possible
Yes, you can achieve that using the Generative Fill tool. I've created a detailed video tutorial on "how to use Generative Fill in Adobe Firefly". To get the desired effect, you'll have to get a bit creative. One approach could be to create a collage of your dogs' images, upload it to the Generative Fill tool, remove the background, and then add a paint splatter.
Can the generated images be used for commercial use?
Yes, you can use Firefly outputs commercially. However for features that are still in beta testing (marked with the "beta" label), you can also use the outputs commercially, unless there are specific restrictions mentioned but they are not covered for indemnification while in beta.
