Mrs. POLA - I am brand new GREEN at this. Give plenty of thanks to your husband for his generous donations! Did he enjoy finding replacements to wear outside or maybe work? :-) What I noticed is what you called shirts - maybe what kind of material that works better or gosh is it ok to say worse?? Otherwise you know how to cut and piece scrappy material and turn it into gold.
I mainly try to use cotton but if shirt is feeling nice I don’t mind cotton mix. The advantage when working with recycled materials is that they will no longer shrink or loose colours so if you like the fabrics use them.
I put a strip of masking tape on my machine, around 1" wide, drew a centre line with a pen at the needle, then one at a quarter inch away on each side of it. It has been there for years, still works fine, doesn't rub off and is easy and cheap to replace, if I ever manage to destroy it. Loving your magic numbers ideas.
Hi Pola. watching this video for the 2nd time. by any chance can you remember how many shirts you used for this, as i have been given some shirts and hoping i might have enough for a single bed. Thank you. x

No, sorry . Normally I just have stack of shirts and don’t count. But you could get 2 blocks as minimum from one I think.
I see bear faces.
🤣😁 I think you on to something 💕💕
